They wasted no time and began the ExeCom meeting momentarily. Glaiza fiddled on her pen as she listened to the presentation from the Design Department. On her peripheral view, she could feel Rhian was staring at her. She shifted in her chair and tried to pay attention to the proposed layout for the next big shoot while she sipped on her coffee.

"I wonder why they only served two coffees, is there a cost-cutting?" Ben murmured grinning at her.

She glared at him. "Will you just pay attention to the layout, Mr Alves?" She caught a sight of Rhian looking at her again so her head automatically shifted back to the screen.

"O Bar, later? Whatcha say?" His eyes now focused on the presenter.

She turned to him again narrowing her eyes. "Problem again at home?"

He chuckled quietly. "The otherwise, mademoiselle. He actually suggested it." He leaned closer. "So, just like the old times?" He wiggled his eyebrows.

She only shrugged. "Sure." She jumped a little when she felt her phone vibrate on her back pocket. She quickly slipped it off and gasped when she read who the sender was, her heartbeat went rigid upon opening the message.

❤️Rhi❤️

I missed you...

God knows how much she wanted to reply the same words, she felt a wave of flurry flow through her. And then another message popped up.

...so much!

It took a moment for the words to register. She did not know how long she stared at those messages. The elation of the moment before came crashing down. If not for Ben's tugging from her distrait state, she could have been unable to answer the question thrown at her regarding the shoot.

It took another powerpoint presentation and a few more discussions to cap it off. She'd already forgotten her musings earlier, or at least tried to.

"Do you mind if I invite some from the team?" Ben nudged her as she gathered all her things.

"Why would I? I was only invited." She said and heaved a deep sigh when she saw Rhian leave the room. Times like this she appreciated the bugging of Ben. She was not ready yet to face that beautiful face again. Good riddance.

"Cool!" He exclaimed and left immediately. She could only shake her head.

There was no chance she could talk to Rhian since they both had a busy day, meetings everywhere and she had an afternoon appointment with her dentist. When 10pm arrived, she found herself heading to O Bar, situated in Home Depot. When she arrived, it was still quiet, the lines had not yet arrived although that would likely change in the next hour or so.

She was welcomed by the music pumping and the lights flashed but the dance floor was largely empty. The stage was being prepared already for the midnight show. Some couches and tables had already been occupied.

"G!" She was busy looking for Ben and Jerry when she heard someone shouted.

"Hey, Kat!" She gave her a hug when she recognized the bar owner.

"Where have you disappeared, huh? Once upon a time you used to come at least once a week!" Katrina exclaimed.

"I've been busy, you know that!" She replied squeezing the woman tight.
