Cameron POV

I was having fun, I knew it was unfair to go around, stealing the weapons from the demons, and using the pen in the boy Ash's trouser pocket to draw a moustache on Jay's face. I also ran some blades through some of the scarier monsters. I walked calmly through the crowd and bumped into Bree's dad, I gasped and scrambled into a fire demon. Her father looked fine, but what was he doing here! Why? What? How? Too many questions passed through my sacred, angelic head. Then I heard a small whimper, Bree's whimper. I spread my glowing angel wings and soared over the demons. I looked around, the lake made it easier to find my friends. I could smell elemental blood; he saw Alaya sprawled on the floor being swamped by frozen demons. I landed in a superman pose and sliced a sharp half disc through all the demons who surrounded Alaya. Soon I could drag her into an empty space, and I saw an ice shard implanted into her flesh. I took her fighting gear off her chest; you can't blush when you're an angel. When I had taken off all her heavy gear so only her cotton shirt, as gently as possible I placed his hand on her chest over the wound. Thankfully she was still frozen so it was really easy to heal her, I redressed her and I finally looked around. Bree and the evil guy both lay in the exact same position, crying. Cameron ran over Bree and rested her head in his lap, her eyelids fluttered and her eyes opened. She began to bawl. It was a heartbroken cry, sad, desperate, she was gasping for breath and continued to sob. Small snowflakes fell from the ceiling as she cried as if she was the sky. It was beautiful and pitiful at the same time. Sitting in the middle of a frozen war, I had wanted to hold Bree in his arms, but not like this. My heart yearned to put my lips to hers and comfort her as she cried. Then a hand pulled Brianna away. I looked up, expecting to see Jay, but instead, the evil dude was resting his hand on her and grinning. Bree froze as a sheet of ice spread from his hand. I sat and stared in horror as the girl I cared the most in the world about turned into an ice sculpture. Then just as soon as she froze over completely that the ice seemed to explode, sending a tremor through the maze. A small pillow looking, creature, shivered and grew into the world's most elegant and terrifying dragon, it shifted colours as it moved around, like a chameleon. It moved like a serpent with legs, hissing with fury and spitting ice shards, it threw it's head back and roared. Unseen stalactites rained from the sky, crushing demons. The dragon darted towards Sephits, who was now on his feet, summoning waters from the deep oceans. As the dragon hurtled towards him with his mouth open with rows of teeth, he just told Brianna in her head,

"I'll see you soon Brianna Black when you're ready to talk. I'll be there. Remember, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer." And with that, he got torn to pieces.
