Trapezes

Chapter Summary: The first time the team saw Robin on the trapezes.

The first time the team saw robin on the trapezes was by complete accident. In all honesty, if Robin had to admit it then he himself would say that it was his own fault. Here's a recap of what happened.

Robin or Dick Grayson always gets up a little earlier then the team when he stays at the mountain. His reason for this is so he can practice the trapezes with no one knowing about it.

After Robin got up, he got into costume and climbed the ladder to the bars. Once up he chalked up his hands and got ready to jump. The safety net is on at this time. He always has the safety net on at the start of the practice, by the half way point it gets removed.

Robin started simple at first. A gazelle here a few barrel rolls their. Soon he got bored and went to practice some harder moves. He practiced toe hangs and straddle sides at this point.

After about twenty minutes he felt that he practiced those enough and went to do a quadruple flip. He got it right after many times.

Now is when he removes the safety net. that was the moment the team walked in. Robin was so caught up in the moment that he didn't know that the team had been their for over half the time so far.

Robin, being the star he is didn't want to give off any sign that he knew they were their. He smiled and took the net off, noticing M'ganns gasp.

He did the whole routine again, this time taking notice of the teams gasp and aww. Well almost, Wally, who knew his secret ID, was still in awe just not as much as the others. He finally got to the famous move and did four flips. Only surprising himself that this time, instead of four, he managed to do five flips.

At the end of the 'show' Robin turned toward the team and did a bow while saying, "Ladies and Gentlemen, that you for coming." The team jumped when they saw that they had been noticed.

"You knew that we were here the whole time," Aqualad asked him. "Not the whole time. I didn't notice until I stopped to take a break and remove the safety net. I decided that since you guys didn't get a chance to see my skills yet, then I might as well make a show out of it," Robin explained.

"It was a fine show Robin. I didn't know that you could fly," the female Martian complemented. Robin laughed at this. "Sorry to disappoint you Miss M, but I can't fly. I wish I could but I'm aerialist. It's similar to gymnastics, but in the air," The circus raised boy answered.

Miss Martian was shocked by this, after all she still had a lot to learn about earth. "It's okay babe, the dick over their is just a show off," Wally tried to lighten her up, instead he was met a birdarang to the shoulder. "OW! Dude that hurt," Wally yelled at him, while taking the sharp object out of his arm. "Maybe you should watch what you say," Robin said.

In the end they both laughed at each other with stupid grins on their faces. Wally would of loved to try the trapezes, Dick has been teaching him for a while now, but he thought that they had enough surprises for the day.

The team all walked back to the living room discussing Robin's new found treat with excitement while they all got out food. After that Batman told them to report for a mission on some random island.
