4. The Rock Kingdom

In the second chapter of his book, our prophet Daniel was shown a vision about a great statue and a rock that struck its feet in its latter times and caused the annihilation of the whole statue permanently. But the rock became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth. The statue does not represent therefore our planet earth but only this wicked world of men and spirits.

The head of the statue which is pure gold represents the king of Babylon and all his sons who succeeded his throne. The gold may also represents his kingdom for a king and his dominion are one like the head and his body, (or the kingdom and its central city) are one.

But there is also an invisible kingdom behind every kingdom of men. Actually, these kingdoms were the real rulers over them in past ages. Human rulers were forced to act on their behalf. They are the gods or spirits of the world.

The chest and arms of the statue is another kingdom to succeed in ruling the earth. Though the authority to rule will be passed on it, this and all the other kingdoms as successors to rule are still belong to the same statue, the kingdom or house of the real ruler behind them all, who is their prince and god.

This god tempted Jesus to have all these kingdoms and their dominions and glory in an instant if he will only bow down to him, and so he can spare himself from the tribulation he is about to take.
(Luke 4:5-7)

Then another kingdom, one of bronze, the belly and thighs of the statue, will rise to power and rule the whole earth.

Then finally, a fourth kingdom, strong as an iron, will rule and will destroy all other kingdoms.*

*The other kingdoms do not include the bronze, silver, and gold, because he is one of them. He will only succeed them to lead their house and rule the whole earth. This will be cleared as we continue to analyze the prophecy.

Notice also that though their value is degrading, their strength of rule is getting stronger. Though they are made of different elements, all are solid metals. Solid rule. No divisions.

But a drastic change will occur in the last days of this house, its dominion will be divided.

If a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are safe. But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, his trusted armors will be taken away from him, and the victor will divide the plunder.
(Luke 11:21-22)

And if a kingdom or house is already divided against itself, it can no longer stand.
(Mark 3:24-25)

It cannot stand or endure any longer because its strong head is already overpowered, and his dominion, and his people are already divided. This house is already in its last days!

The king of the rock kingdom came and tied up or overpowered the god of this evil house.

In fact, no one can enter and plunder the house of a strong man unless he first binds him up.
(Mark 3:27)

The Lord did the same way to Satan which weakened his house in its last days. Yes, I say "did" because I believe that this wicked world is already in its divided dominion. It is already being ruled by two separate powers: the iron spirits and the clay which is the power of men. The strong head of the evil house is already in prison.
