The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say, "Come!" Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
(Revelation 22:17)

The Spirit is the Lord and the Bride is his body, his church or city.

As we have learned from the previous chapters, the Lord's Day is likened to the time of great heat or summer and drought to test the trees, grass, and all green plants and those who are planted by the living water can stand and endure.

To the rest, they will be running here and there (restless) to find food and water and try to increase their knowledge about God or Life.

But the vessels of God will be healed so that their deaf ears can hear and their blind eyes can see. They will hear the call to wash their robes stained with unrighteousness so that they can enter and rest inside the invisible city of God. (Revelation 22:14-15) They can also drink the water of life to quench their thirst. This is the eternal spirit from God which is like a living water who will dwell in them and will flow out of them abudantly.
