In my dreams I was safely at home tucked in my bed, curling tighter around my soft stone grey sheets. The knitted blanket my Nana made for me when I was seven wrapped around my shoulders giving an added sense fo comfort.

I knew I would wake up in the morning and begin my school routine once again and I would be on my way to University. I was prepared for that.

What I wasn’t prepared for was the slamming headache that greeted me when I forced my eyes open. My vision was hazy and warped, if this was what it felt like to be hung over I was never drinking again.

I blinked rubbing my eyes trying to clear the fog from them. When I looked around the dark room I realized very quickly that I was not at home where I believed myself to be.

I gasped finally realizing where I was, scrambling I pushed off the bed and fell to the floor landing hard on cool wooden floors. My back hit something and I turned finding the shadow of a chair behind me.

A chill swept over me and raised goosebumps all over my body. The dress’s fluffy skirt still plumed up around me.

Pressing my hands to the floor I looked around the bleak room, there was one window with a veranda and patio. Other than that plus the four post bed and three chairs centered around a round table with a chess board atop it, the room was bare.

Clumsily I pushed to my feet stumbling drunkenly towards the door, I made a vow to never drink again. Never would I agree to do Laya’s idea, they could all deal with this crap. I was done. I wanted to go home now.

I grabbed the door handle pulling the thick wooden double doors wide open. I looked down a long hallway with a few red doors farther down closer to the end.

The flickering, dancing, warming light of candles lit the white walled, red carpeted hallway. I stepped out soundlessly looking around for anybody. At the end of the long hallway was the bright glowing orange light of the party.

Maybe somebody had just been kind enough to lay me down in a suite for a while. As I stepped out into the walkway with the railings overlooking the dance hall a sickening feeling of fear wound itself tightly in my gut.

There was blood sprayed all over the hardwood floor, the decorations were torn, tables were smashes. Bits and pieces of clothing were left strewn here and there.

The only thin untouched by the carnage was the throne. That was all that remained undisturbed.

I clasped my hands over my mouth and backed away slowly. Notari, Laya, Tirana. Where did they go?

“Notari! Laya! Tirana where are you?” I called out my hands trembling.

“Now, now, little Lamb. Indoor voice please, My guests are trying to enjoy themselves.” I screamed spinning around finding the Raven masked man standing behind me.

He blinked at me his eyes filling with confusion, “Where is everybody?” I whispered stepping back up to him.

He leaned away and growled, he actually growled at me. “Answer me! Where are my friends!” I shouted grabbing the front of his jacket anger began to thrum through every vein in my body.

If he had hurt them I swear to god I would kill him. He smirked and laid his hands over my wrists and very easily forced me to release him.

“Lamb, please. Quiet your voice and come back to bed, I barely got started in on you when you.” He said turning trying to pull me down the hallway back to the room.

I jerked away from him stepping back until I was up against the railing, I narrowed my eyes at him.

“What kind of sicko are you! Where are my friends.” I snapped, and then I realized he probably had no idea who the hell I was talking about.
