“Hold on, you’ll be alright.” His voice hissed in my ear.

I must have been drifting because the next thing I knew I was being set down on a bed in side of wooden logged room. There was a fire burning in the fireplace, it was made from broken stones. The bed was covered in heavy quilts that added a cushion I wasn’t used to.

A hand tapped my cheek and I nearly screamed when his face appeared inches from mine, “Do you still feel pain?” He asked turning my face from side to side.

It took minutes for my mind to play catch up, and when it did pure mind crushing fear filled me. The neurotic sensation of hands now grabbing at me was everywhere. I screamed pushing away from him, he caught my wrist and pinned me to the bed.

His knee’s pressed in against my hips in place, he didn’t look angry only worried. In the back of my mind I knew that he wasn’t trying to hurt me.

“I don’t know!” I screamed the voices began to replay the same things over and over again, demanding a name, demanding to know who this man was. “I swear I didn’t tell them, I don’t know!”

“Asha! Lamb, look at me breath!” He shouted over me giving me a shake.

“Please just let me go, I didn’t do anything wrong.” The sobs shook my body as the tears flowed down the sides of my face dripping into my hair.

His green eyes went wide, “No, You didn’t do anything wrong.” He soothed leaning down and kissing me, the shock from his lips to mine made me gasp.

It actually came more of a hiccup, “What happened.” I sobbed shutting my eyes.

“I don’t know, I swear to you I don’t. Skylar’s looking, alright. While he’s looking you and I will stay here.” He dropped his head down onto my chest.

“Where?”

“It’s a little Inn, it's safest if we stay here away from the carriages until they’ve been scoped for openings.” He murmured against my chest plate gently nuzzling my breasts.

A hand slid along my thigh and I moved faster than I ever had scurrying out from under him to the headboard of the bed. My knee’s pulled up against my chest, he sat frozen his green eyes caught on me.

“They aren’t going to touch you Asha. Now please come here.”

“No-No!” I screeched pressing my hands to the side of my head, I could feel hands all over my body.

I wanted them gone, I didn’t want them! “If you’re with me they won’t touch you I promise!” I shouted holding his hands out to me.

Without a second thought I launched at him wrapping my arms around his neck and curling in against his body.

A heavy sigh escaped his chest and he kissed the crown of my head. His hands rubbed my back soothingly.

“I am sorry this incident occurred. They shouldn’t have targeted you, my brand should have sent them away.”

The bedroom door eased open and I stiffened in his arms, “It’s just Skylar.” C-A whispered turning to look at Skylar, who had stepped into the room and shut the door behind him.

“How are you feeling?” He spoke in a lower comforting voice.

“She’s not doing well. Whatever the hell happened in there has most likely shocked her mind. Please tell me you have something I can work with.”

I pressed my face into the curve of his neck feeling his pulse beating up his throat, or would it be down his throat. Either way it was soothing and I was a little lost in it.

“It’s not good, it was Hallowfiers. Not our own, they were much too powerful. They have to be from the Harrow.”

C-A growled his hands tightening on me, “Send word to Jrimmknot that I want her waiting at my home when we arrive.”

“Understood, But Sir it’s not just that. Their target, they were trying to collect your name and destroy her. Chances are they aren’t the only Hallowfiers out there.  There most definitely will be another attack.” Skylar murmured.

They were coming after me again, tears built in my eyes. As useless as I felt when I was one of the targets with the destroy tag I wasn’t going to be very useful.

“Damnit.”

“Why do they want your name? Why are they going to kill me…”

“Not kill, Destroy. Most likely they’ll hurt you to get everything they can-”

C-A snapped, “Skylar enough! I do not need you making her worse. She is already in danger now, I do not need her rational fears making it worse.”

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to upset you. I thought it would be only right for her to be warned.”

“Leave” C-A shouted.

Skylar bowed to us then turned and left, the room collapsed into a heavy silence.

“My name is known to very few, for good reason. For one, having my full name gives somebody the power to manipulate me with spells. It also has the power to bind me to the person who says it.”

“Why do they think I know!” I shouted leaning away from him.

Cursing through his teeth he spun tossing me to the bed, his hands pressed on either side of my head his knee’s on either side of my thighs and he loomed over me.

“Because I have brought you all the way from the Human world, never have I done something to reckless and stupid. I would never have even attempted this, if you weren’t so rare.”

I shook my head and curled over onto my side, “They’re going to kill me.” I whimpered.

“No they won’t, I’ll keep them away. I promised.”

“They know my name!”

He dropped down onto his side in front of me, his arms reaching out and wrapping around me. He pulled up one side of the blankets to cover me and my naked state.

“They do not, they only know your name is Ashleigha. You have not given your last name, nor will you.” He took a deep breath and pulled me tighter in against his chest until my body was flush with his.

The dark ideas made my toes curl.

“Kill me now.” I hissed  wrapping my arms around his neck.

“Damnit,” He cursed before kissing me as deeply as he could at the angle he was at, his hands travelled down my spine cupping my ass.

Flush spread across my face, my eyes shut tightly as I tried to ignore the fact that this was not normal, as I enjoyed my sweet well deserved kiss.

“Damien Salem O’Hallows, Now say it.” He hissed rocking his forehead against mine.

“What?” My voice was barley a whisper.

He growled and flipped me over onto my back holding my legs around his hips, “Say it.”

“Damien Salem O’Hallows.” I spoke it quickly and yet the words seemed to slide easily off my tongue.

A big grin lit his face and he kissed me quickly, “Good girl, now never say that again.”

“What was it?” I whispered watching his green eyes scan down my neck daring closely to my breasts.

“My name, Lamb. You just spoke my name, I know your and you know mine. Good?”

“But I can’t call you by your name…” I moped pouting my bottom lip.

He groaned dropping his head down, “There is no pleasing you is there woman.” He snapped, “Call me Salem or Dee. Just not my first name, or all three together or I will have to kill you.”

“Dee” I whispered leaning up myself and kissing him, I was in control of the moment I would kiss him.

Damien Salem O’Hallows, I knew the name of my mystery man. It only took a few days and some very odd, horrifying and sensual things occurring for him to tell me. But now I knew, he had a name.
