Dan's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a ringing that sounded almost heavenly.

"Did you hear that?" Phil whispered. Dan nodded, slightly in awe. "A phone! We can get out!" Phil immediately stood up, but as soon as he thought he had his balance, he fell onto Dan.

"Careful!" Dan nearly shrieked. He looked at Phil, suddenly taking realizing how bad Phil's health was. Though he was pale, his skin was now almost white and his cheekbones protruded far out of his face. Under his eyes he had large almost black circles that looked like bruises, and his forehead wound hadn't healed very well and looked slightly infected. Phil was shaking. "When was the last time you ate?"

The despair in Phil's voice shattered Dan's heart. "I... I don't remember."

Tears sprung in Dan's melty chocolate eyes. "Phil, I promise you that whatever happens, I will get you out of here. You don't deserve any of this."

He took one last look at the beautiful boy before him before venturing for the phone.

If Dan could barely stand, how was he going to get the phone? Well, he didn't know, but he managed to do it by crawling and the power of Phil's optimism. Luckily the phone was laying on the ground, and when Dan picked it up he saw it was his phone. "That little bitch," he murmured.

He quickly typed in his pass code, his previous girlfriend's name which he'd have to change, and typed in 999.

After he had told the police officer what had happened, he crawled back to Phil to deliver the good news. His promise came true, he was going to get Phil out; but Phil wasn't there.

Hello readers! I've decided to give you another update to try to make up for not updating in forever.

Other than that, I actually have nothing else to say, so um...

Well, this is awkward.

I'm gonna escape this awkwardness with my catchphrase; have a nice day!
