I turned around quickly as the voice had scared me. I must've spun too quickly because I fell, but I caught myself before actually hitting the ground, so I was on my hands and knees. I noticed shoes close to my face, so I knew they were closer to me than I had thought. I slowly look up to see a man smiling down at me, holding his hand out to me to help me. I take it and stand up. I brush myself off and just stare at the ground. I was embarrassed.

"I-I'm sorry sir. I wasn't expecting you home right now."

"It's alright. I shouldn't have snuck up on you like that."

At that moment, I slightly froze. I knew that voice. I slowly looked up to look at him, but he already had his back turned to me.

"You've worked hard today. Would you like something to drink?"

I was so focused on trying to figure out where I've heard that voice, I almost missed what he said.

"Uh, can I have some (choice of drink here) please?"

"Of course. Are you coming?"

I followed him out the door and to the kitchen. I sat down and waited for my drink. I just stared at the table. I guess I spaced out for a while because next thing I knew, my glass was on the table and he was sitting across from me. I took that moment to look up at him. When I saw his face, I internally gasped.

"M-Mark?!"

I heard him chuckle. "So you do know who I am."

"Of course. I enjoy watching your videos. They make me happy."

He smiled at me. "Well, that's what I try to do."

I smiled at him and took a sip of my drink. It was really good.

"So, you know my name. May I ask you yours?"

I mentally slapped myself. I should've said my name earlier.

"Of course. My name is (y/n)."

"That is a wonderful name. A wonderful name for a wonderful person."

He smiled at me and I blushed. Mark called me and my name wonderful! I was fangirling so much on the inside.

"T-Thank you."

"You're welcome."

It was silent for a while, and I could feel Mark staring at me. I started to feel slightly uncomfortable, so I decided to break the silence.

"Uh, I should probably finish with the laundry and then clean these cups. When I'm done, I guess I'll head home."

I got up from the table and headed to the laundry room. I got the clothes from the washer and put them in the dryer. I went back to the kitchen to wash the cups we had just used. I noticed Mark was no longer at the table. He must've went to his room. When I finished, I felt a presence close behind me. I turn around and Mark was standing really close behind me, and I jumped.

"Sorry (y/n), I didn't mean to scare you. I just came to tell you bye before you left."

I don't know how he keeps sneaking up on me like that, but that's very sweet of him. We both walked to the door and I started to leave when Mark called me.

"Wait (y/n). I have something for you."

So he went to go get something while I stood at the door. What exactly is it that he'd have for me? I have no idea.

"Here you go."

I looked at the thing in his hand and took it.

"A uniform..?"

"Yes. I'll need you to wear it. I meant to give it to you yesterday, but I wasn't here, so."

"Alright sir. I'll make sure to start wearing it."

I don't understand why I'd need an outfit since this is a private job, but as long as I get paid, I'm okay with it.

"You did a great job today (y/n). Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow." He smiled at me.

"Thank you sir. Have a great day yourself."

I walked out the door, got in my car, and started it up. When I looked out the window, Mark was still there staring at me. He waved at me, so I waved back. Then, I drove off, heading home.
