Riley's POV:
We were cuddled on the couch, sipping mugs of hot chocolate. My head was in his lap, and every once in a while, Harry would kiss my head.
'Why do you keep doing that?" I giggled.
"To make sure you were there. And that this wasn't a dream," he grinned and kissed me again. I gave him an eskimo kiss.
Harry's phone buzzed. He groaned. "Ugh, it's Simon. If they make me go out in this weather and have a date with Kendall, I swear-"
"Just answer it!" I said and he sat up.
"Hello? Yes. Mhm. Thank you. Tommorrow then. Thanks. Bye." He looked at me. "No date today!" He danced sitting down, causing my head to bounce up and down. I giggled.
"Wanna make some cookies?" I asked. I loved to bake.
"Sure," he said, looking outside. "Looks like we're snowed in, you'll be staying here for a while."
"That's fine with me!" I cheered. I sat up and put my mug down. I grabbed his hand and pulled him up from the couch.
I scrounged the cabinet for flour, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and brown sugar. While I was looking, Harry came from behind me and laid his head on my shoulder. "Hey babe, can you go to the fridge and get butter, and three eggs?" I asked, gathering ingredients in my arms.
"Sure, love," he responded and kissed me on the cheek.
In minutes, I was mixing the dough, and Harry occasionally stuck his finger in and taste-tested it. I was rolling some into a ball now. I picked off a piece and handed it to Harry.
He popped it in his mouth. "Does it taste good?" I asked worriedly. The last time I made sugar cookies were two years ago for Christmas.
"No," he shook his head. I groaned and started to chuck the cookie dough in the garbage. He stopped my hand by tightly grabbing my wrists. "It tastes great," he said grinning.
I set down the cookie dough on the counter. "Harold Styles that was a very cruel joke. I was worried I had wasted all that food!" I said, pushing his toned chest with my hands.
"I'm sorry baby," he said and hugged me. I cuddled my head against his chest and breathed in deeply. He smelled like peppermint.
"I love times like these," I said quietly. Harry hummed in agreement. "I just want time to stop, right? I want management to be gone. I want you to never leave my side. I don't want to grow up."
"You don't want to grow old with me?" Harry asked, his brown eyebrows furrowed.
"No, you silly goose, of course I do!" I said, tapping him on the nose with my finger. "I just- I want to be with you for the rest of my life."
"Even with management?"
I nodded.
"And Kendall? And the lads? And-"
"I want to be with you no matter what." I promised and looked him deeply in the eyes.
"Alright then," he mumbled. "Here goes."
He got down on one knee. "Harry-" I gasped.
"Shhh, it's gonna be okay."
I smiled as tears sprang to my eyes.
"Riley, I've loved you ever since the days I laid eyes on you. Your kisses are addicting, your smile is contagious, and you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. You are my one and only. You are my soulmate, which I want to be with my entire life. You make me laugh, you make me thankful that I have someone as wonderful as you. I promise I will never cheat, or make you upset. I want you to be mine," He finished and pulled out a box from his pocket. He opened it. "Riley Wynter, will you marry me?
