Harry's POV:

I cursed under my breath as I watched Riley run off.

I could see the tears on her cheeks.

The crowd hadn't cleared yet, and they were just standing there, watching me.

I hurried after Riley. I heard the loud sobs.

I wish management would leave my life alone for a while.

"Ri?" I called.

She walked out of the bathroom and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.

"I wanna go home," she said quietly.

"The hotel?"

"No. Home." She said, looking at the ground.

I nodded and she walked ahead of me.

No kiss, no hug, not even a hand-hold.

I sighed and walked to catch up to her.

Once we got on the bus, neither of us talked.

We got to the hotel and she started packing her things.

"I'm going to the hospital to pick up Kylie." Riley said quietly.

I nodded and gave her a hug.

"Be careful. K?" I said and she nodded.

She walked out the door, leaving me alone in the room.

"Best vacation ever," I muttered.

Riley's POV:

I walked into the hospital, sighing.

This was not how I pictured my vacation with Harry going.

"Hi, I'm here for Kylie Styles," I said.

"Room 4C. Child's Ward." The nurse told me.

Walking to the Child's Ward, I looked around for room 4C.

I saw a nurse. "Excuse me? Do you know where Kylie Styles is?"

She nodded and pointed down the hall to a sign that read, 'Critical Care.'

I thanked her and walked down the hallway in confusion.

I knew that Kylie wasn't doing well, but Critical Care?

Stepping into the room, I gasped.

Nurses were crowded around Kylie, tubes stuck in her nose, needles crowding her body.

One of the nurses turned around. "Are you Miss Wynter?" She asked me.

I nodded.

"We're going to have Kylie be put to sleep. She's not strong enough to stay alive, even with all of the help we've been giving her. Life support isn't giving her what she needs and because she was so premature, her brain is not fully developed-"

"Can't she have a procedure?" I asked, my eyes brimming with tears.

"No. Her prefontal cortex is not strong enough to be cut into to."

I looked at her with a blank stare.

"Her skull is too soft to be cut into, it would collapse if we did the surgery."

"What else is wrong?" I asked quietly.

I don't know why I asked - it only got worse from there.

"When she was being delivered, part of her right rib cracked, so she is having trouble breathing. Her ribs are too small to be operated on."

A sob escaped my mouth. The nurse gave me a comforting hug.

"It'll be alright," she told me.

"Can I, say goodbye?" I asked weakly.

She nodded and the nurses cleared away from Kylie.

"I only knew you for a little while, but you've taken my heart with you. I hope you know that you have a very loving family, and that while you're having the time of your life up in heaven, remember us. Be sure to remember us."
