Riley's POV:

Once I split away from Harry, I ran to the nearest DVD store.

I picked up both Titanic and The Notebook and paid for them. I remember on our first date, Harry took me out to see Titanic, and I ended up sobbing into his shoulder.

I sighed. We were so young back then.

I stopped into Starbucks and got him a bag Colombia Roast coffee grinds, his favorite.

I bit my lip as I stopped at several stores, getting him all of his favorite things.

A new tennis racket.

All three seasons of Family Guy.

A 60 oz bottle of apple juice.

Adele's ablum '21'.

And lastly, a baby turtle. Harry always told me he wanted a turtle. Once I bought the turtle, I had him in a cage and I carefully tucked him in my purse.

Harry always made fun of how big my purses are - they come in handy!

I swung my bags around, excited to stuff Harry's stocking with my new purchases, and then at the end of the night, I'm going to give him the turtle.

I grinned. I couldn't wait.

I practically skipped to the food court, and saw Harry's mop of brown curls.

I saw him talking to someone - I think it was... Gary? I had met him before, he was Niall's brother.

I stood from a distance, not wanting to interrupt their conversation.

Once Gary walked off, I ran over to Harry.

I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around, white as a ghost.

"Riley? I have something to tell you-"

"Oh my gosh, Harry I forgot! I promised Perrie I'd meet her at Nando's!" I exclaimed.

Harry's face fell.

"Sorry, Har. Can it wait for later?" I asked as I glanced at my watch. Wow, I was late.

He nodded and I kissed him before running off.

"I'll text you later!" I called as I jogged out of the mall. He stood there, staring at me.

I jumped into my car and called Perrie. She picked up on the first ring.

"Hey, girl!" Perrie chirped. "Where are ya, I'm sitting outside Nando's." She said.

I groaned. "Sorry, I lost track of time Christmas shopping with Harry," I said.

"Oh, okay. How long 'till you get here?" She asked. I checked my GPS.

"'Bout fifteen minutes I think."

"Alright, girly. See ya soon!" Perrie said cheerily before hanging up the phone.

I clicked the blue-tooth button and turned off the call.

In seconds of ending my conversation with Perrie, the familiar ringing filled my ears.

I clicked the blue-tooth button again. "Hello?"

"Hey, Riley, right?" Someone said.

"Yes..." I said slowly.

"Stay away from Harry." The voice said before it hung up.

I took in a breath sharply. My hands shaking, I pulled into the Nando's parking lot next to Perrie's car. She grinned at me and opened her car door.

"Hey girl- why do you look so pale?" Perrie grabbed my hand. "Are you sick?" She asked. "We don't want to hurt the baby," she said and gently touched my stomach. I smiled weakly.

"I'm fine," I said. "Let's go eat."

Perrie's POV:

Riley was really distant all of lunch. She kept checking her phone, turning it on and off every few minutes.

"Ri?"

"Huh?" Her head snapped up to look at me.

"You okay?" I asked. She nodded. "Riley, you obviously aren't okay. You look like you're about to pass out, you've been checking your phone every three minutes and you're looking around Nando's like someone is out to get you." I said, ticking my fingers off one by one.

"You're right Perrie, I'm just... tired." Riley said. "Maybe next week?" I nodded my head and got up to hug her.

"Go sleep. And ask Harry to make you some tea." I encouraged her. "Tell Harry I said hi." She winced when I said Harry's name.

"Bye," Riley said quietly before leaving the resturant. I sighed.

Suddenly, someone grabbed my neck from behind me.

Everything went black.
