Harry's POV:
"Be right back babe," I called to Riley as I walked to the bathroom.
"Kay, Haz," she yelled back to me. "Have fun," she joked.
God, I love her.
I was about to close the bathroom door when my phone buzzed.
I pulled it out of my pocket and looked at the message. It was from Kendall.
To Harry: Management called me. Should I call you my boyfriend?
This was so screwed up. It was so twisted. Date my best friend? Ew.
To Kendall: Uh, no. I'm not listening to management, so go off to the states.
I know it sounded harsh, but I was mad at her. I know she needed the money, but just, stay with a friend and get a job.
I'm still irked that she would listen to management and accept the job.
I sighed. Why couldn't life be as easy as it was before. Where Riley and I were perfect, the lads and I were going strong, Simon still liked me, and management was easy.
And most of all, my Kendall wasn't my pretend girlfriend.

Riley's POV:
Today, today was the first day. The first day without Harry. I was scared. Without me by his side, I didn't know what would happen.
Would Kendall treat him right? I mean, Harry has been pretty rude to her lately about this whole thing.
I hope she does.
Harry's POV:
Todays the day. Management is forcing me into a fake relationship with my best friend.
I'm just as scared as Riley. Riley tries to hide it from me, but it's obvious she doesn't want this to happen. I want her by my side. To calm me down when I get angry, to cheer me up when I'm upset.
We were both laying in my bed together. These last two weeks, we had been alternating between her apartment and my flat.
Riley was asleep, her blonde hair circled around her face, she was breathing lightly.
I kissed her on the nose and her eyes fluttered. She rubbed them and opened her eyes to look at me. "Hey, Hazza bear," she said, her voice full of sleep.
I chuckled and kissed her head. "Good morning beautiful."
She sat up, pushing herself against the head board. She clung onto my torso and her head fell onto my lap. "It's today isn't it," she whispered.
I nodded my head and she looked up at me innocently. "It'll be alright," I assured her.
"Okay," she whispered and in seconds, I heard light snores. Her mouth was pursed and she was asleep.
I grabbed my phone from my bedside table and took a picture. I tweeted it, captioning the picture with,
'Look at my morning beauty @wynterishere' and then I locked my phone and drifted off to sleep.
