Happily - Chapter 48

Riley's POV:

"I promise."

"You seem to be making a lot of promises lately," Harry huffed.

"I won't break this one." I said and Harry averted his eyes from my face.

I sighed and got up from the bed, ripping the IV out of my hand. I winced and Harry rolled his eyes.

"That wasn't smart of you, was it?"

I glared at him. "I'm going to the hospital to see Kylie." I said and he got up.

"I'll come."

"No."

I walked out of the room and made my way to the car rental.

"Hi, yes. Um, a gray Sedan please."

I got the keys and got in the car.

Sighing, I drove to the hospital, and stopped in the Baby Ward.

I peeked through the glass to see Kylie, fists clenched. She had a few brown curls on top of her head.

I smiled. Those were Harry's curls.

"Miss Wynter?" A nurse appeared behind me.

I turned around and smiled. "Would you like to see Kylie?" I nodded.

She lead me into the room, and she gently picked up Ky. She handed her to me.

She was so tiny she would be able to fit into Harry's palm. "Is she okay?" I asked the nurse.

"Well, her breathing problems are not great. We might need to have a heart procedure." My chest tightened.

"Heart procedure?"

"A minor one," she assured me. "And since she's so young, she won't really feel it."

I bit my lip and kissed Ky on her forehead. I handed her to the nurse and thanked her.

Once I got to the hotel room, I walked into an empty room.

"Harry?" I called.

No answer.

I noticed a note on the bed.

Hi Princess - 

I planned another surprise for you.

Just follow these steps and you'll find me.

I grinned.

Picking up the note, I went to the bathroom where there was another one.

Go to the place where you'd like to get wet.

I picked up my pace as I ran to the pool.

A lifeguard stopped me and gave me another note.

All the princesses live here - except you, of course.

I smiled again, he's so cheesy.

I went to the bus stop and waited patiently for the Magic Kingdom bus to come.

Stepping on the bus, the bus drived handed me another note.

I giggled. In miniutes, I arrived at the Magic Kingdom.

I ran to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and no one was there.

I looked around and saw a yellow sticky note on a raft going to Tom Sawyer Island.

"Last Call for Tom Sawyer!" An employee yelled.

I sprinted to the raft and got on, plucking the note off the edge of the boat.

Old times where spelling is bad, and Huckleberry Finn is an adventurer.

Go to the first cave you see.

The minute the raft landed, I ran to the first cave.

How did he plan all of this? I was at the hospital for at least an hour. That's it.

Peeking inside the cave I saw another note.

Main Street USA is the best place in the world.

I got on the next raft back to the 'Main Land' and got my butt out of Frontier Land.

On my way to Main Street, people stopped me, telling me more clues.

The smell of vanilla will lead the way.

The castle must be in view.

I got to Main Street and saw the horse. I stopped walking.

The smell of vanilla was in the street because of the Candy Shop.

And the castle was in my vision.

Someone tapped my shoulder and I whipped around.

It was Harry.

He started strumming a guitar.
