Perrie's POV:
"I'm just joking with ya. I'm not that bad."
My eyes widened. "Well, I wasn't so sure, I mean, you kidnapped me." I said.
He chuckled.
"So what do you want with Riley?"
"You know how Niall is my little brother, right?"
"Yea..."
"Well, Niall has been upset. Like, depression, not eating-"
"Not eating? Oh, this is bad," I said. In all my years of knowing Niall, he had never turned down a chance at food.
"Yes. Well, Harry is the thing keeping Riley from realizing how great Niall is."
"Niall is great, and Riley knows that, just, she loves Harry."
Greg came up to me. "You listen, and you listen good. I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I have to. You do whatever I say."
I felt a tear escape my eye. In seconds, my cheeks were soaked.
Greg came quickly over to me. "Your mission is to get Riley to hate Harry. Make Harry look bad, give him the wrong date or the wrong time to miss their get-together, give Riley false information... ya know, the good stuff."
"The good stuff? The bad stuff!" I huffed.
"Perrie, I will only let you go if you agree to do as I say."
"And if I don't?" I challenged him.
"Harry might just disappear. For a while."
I nodded my head.
What am I doing?
Greg undid the rope on my hands and released me from the chair.
Once I got up, he grabbed my body and pressed it to his. He kissed me lightly on the lips, fireworks exploding throughout my mouth.
I pulled back in instanct.
Greg grinned at me - not creepily - but, sweetly.
I smiled before running out of the warehouse.
What the hell just happened?
Harry's POV:
I got home and within twenty minutes of sitting, staring into space, Riley burst through the door.
I rushed to her. "What's wrong, baby? Who hurt you? Was it Greg?" I blurted out several questions and tears welled up in her eyes.
I quickly grabbed her in a hug and kissed the top of her head, petting her hair.
She sobbed louder and broke away from me. She ran up the stairs to our bedroom.
I scratched the back of my neck.
Might as well do it now.
"Riley?" She was sitting on the bed, curled up in a ball. I sat down next to her. "I have something to tell you."
She looked up at me with her big blue eyes, innocent as a newborn puppy.
Teardrops hung off her eyelashes. She smiled weakly.
She whispered something under her breath.
Just do it.
"Ri? I-"
I looked at her. I couldn't do this.
Riley's POV:
I arrived at home in tears. I was scared - no, I was terrified.
Who was that person?
When I walked through the door to our house, Harry immediatly knew who had done it.
But how?
He said something about Gary- no, Greg.
I had seen him at the mall with Greg, and Harry had been really uncomfortable after that incident.
"Want me to make you some tea?" Harry murmured in my ear. I was still a little bit frightened by him, I don't know why - he's my fiance for God's sake.
Harry trotted down to the kitchen and in seconds, I heard a crash.
I ran downstairs to see Harry holding the bag from that day when I was mad at him. At his feet was a shattered mug - the one we had painted on one of our first dates.
He pulled the knife I bought out of the bag.
"What is this?" He fumed.
I winced. "I thought we could use a new one?"
"Why is there blood on it?" He asked me through clenched teeth. I went quickly over to it, examining the sharp blade.
I clearly remember not cutting myself, for Harry.
There was that split second when it touched my skin - oh shit.
Harry was still staring at me, lost in my thoughts.
"It's not what it looks like-"
"Yes, it is, Riley!" Harry yelled at me. "I've been trying so god damn hard to make you happy, and make sure you're healthy, now that the baby on the way-"
"You know what Harry? This isn't easy for me ever! You're always worrying about being seen with me - oh, yea, it's just management," I mimicked him.
Harry stood there stunned. He brushed past me. I watched him go, still shocked at myself.
He stalked out of the house, slipping on his favorite leather jacket.
What did I just do?
