Wherever We Are - 5 Seconds of Summer

Izzy's POV:

"They're happy tears. I just...I just can't believe I have you back. I have my family back." 

For the first time in months, mommy smiled, which made me smile.

"Can we go get ice cream?" I asked.

"Of course-"

"Skye, it's nine o'clock in the mornin-" Niall said before mommy cut him off.

"Niall, I don't care. We are going for ice cream." Mom picked me up and hoisted me on her hip. "Let's go get you changed." I giggled as she poked my nose.

"Coming Neye?" I asked him.

He stood there motionless, his blue eyes far-off. I struggled out of mommy's arms and went my way to Niall. I curled myself around one of his legs that was currently covered in his plaid flannel pajama pants.

"Neye-al." I whined. He frowned slightly. 

"You two go upstairs. I-I need to take care of something." He stumbled across his words and he bit his lip hard.

He untangled me from his leg and left the room, and mommy looked at me funny.

"Let's go Izzy."

Niall's POV:

 

I need to do it today. Skye was just starting to become snippy towards me and I had to stop it.

Boy, she'll never be expecting this.

Skye's POV:

Heartbreak Girl - 5 Seconds of Summer

I didn't mean to snap at Niall, but I wanted Izzy to be happy. If the child wants ice cream, you get the child some damn ice cream.

Izzy smiled at her reflection as I fixed the pink bows in her pigtails.

"Ice cream now?"

"Yeah, Iz. Go get your shoes and I'll be up in a few minutes." I told her and she jumped out of the chair and ran to her room.

I trotted downstairs and tied my red converse quickly before walking slowly towards Niall's turned back.

"Come on, Ni. You can do this. When she least expects it," he chanted to himself.

I felt my stomach drop and my hand went up to my mouth.

He was going to break up with me, wasn't he?

That dick.

I fled upstairs and pulled Izzy out of her room.
