You thought for a good long while and then came up with the fact that there were more people on this ship with more experience then you and the second highest rank here will be granted the privilege to take your spot when you are out training.

You and Rey had a specific roll to play and that was for you to combine what you have learned and try to teach each other what you both have learned. "This isin't working Rey," You said at realising that your training was going no where.

"(Y/N) We must work together to defeat the darkness," She said, but how would it be possible without Luke's help. "Trust in the force and anything will be possible (Y/N),"

"Rey, they have a whole army out there; just waiting to take us out! I don't know what time we have left and now that I just walked into here and I'm already concidered the 'General' is just so hard already."

Rey tried to convince you otherwise, "You shouldin't focas on that during training. Right now, you are no General, but a Jedi in training," Her voice was still calming and wonderful.

"Rey, could I ask you something before we continue?" You asked her.

"Yes, anything," It was great that you had a friend like Rey. She just was perfect and wonderful to work with and it was a gift that she let you train with her and work with her.

"Why don't you ever speak of your past? I mean, I don't even know your last name," You didin't mean to sound offensive or be a bother at all, but this has been bothering you for a while.

"It's a long story (Y/N)," It sounded as if the kindness and love in her voice just dropped.

"Can you please tell me?" Rey was always touchy about her past and she never really told anyone about it, but she nodded unexpectedly.

"I was very young when it all happened. I never knew my perents since they threw me away to train with Luke Skywalker as soon as they got the chance. I don't remember names or faces but I remember training for a long time, practically being raised by Luke himself."

"That must have been really hard for you. You were so young," Rey continued.

"I knew this boy, his name was Ben Solo and he was kind of a hot shot. But people used to always make fun of him for something stupid or something else like that for no good reason at all." You knew Ben Solo all too well, "I was maybe four or five years younger then Ben but we soon became friends until he threw it all away."

You knew this story all too well: Ben betraying everyone and killing all the apprentices. "Kylo Ren, killed everyone and I was lucky to escape being the only survivor besides me and Luke. After that Luke said he had to leave and that one day we will meet again when the time was right and he left me on the planet Jakku and left me with Unkar Plutt,"

"The junk yard?" You asked since you have grown familiar with planets alike and their caltures and life styles of some.

"Yes, and for meny years into adult hood I had to scavenge what ever I could to survive to fight another day. And that brings me to where I am now," She told you about when she first saw you and how you for pushed back by Kylo after calling him what he was.

"I'm so sorry that this all happened to you," You said.

"Don't worry about it (Y/N). I'm changed now and I chose not to live in the past,"

After a while you finished training and came back to the base to talk about what happened and who filled in your place since you didin't have a say in who.

Poe was talking to a girl over at the command station about something or another and you and Rey walked up to meet the new face, "Rey, (Y/N)." Poe greated the both of you. "This is my sister Kendy,"

She was absolutely stunning. Kendy, had a bright smile and gorgeous tan skin with natural dark hair just like Poe. "It is a pleasure to meet you both." She shook your hand first before Rey's, "Poe told me all about you (Y/N). You have been through a great deal and we are lucky to have you here in the resistance,"

You smiled and said, "Thank you so much," And then Kendy shook Rey's hand and they talked for a while until Poe asked to talk to you for a second. Of course you trusted him enough to talk to him for a second.

"So (Y/N) I have been in the loop for what happeneds around here for quiet some time now and I have been hearing things around the base,"

"Yeah, and what would that be?"

"You know that I have nothing to do with the gossip around here but I just want to say that everyone around here besides me Finn, Rey and Leia thinks that you aren't qualified for the job of running most things around here, just becuase of your history with Kylo Ren,"

"I know, that's long behind me now," You said shrugging it off.

"Well, they think that you are still holding darkness within you and it will take some time until you ease into here. And some people think that it's ridiculous that you just came here and just becuase you are a Jedi you just get to run this place,"

It was stupid that people would think that way, but what would you do about it?

"So my sister Kendy, will be taking your place since she's been in the resistance longer then I have."

"No it's alright, I appreciate the fact that Leia wanted me to do the work bit I just don't think I'm ready for that sort of job."

"It's really nothing against you at all (Y/N) becuase I think you are a amazing person and it's great having you here but-" He thought for a second, "We can't take any chances,"

"Thank you Poe, it was nice talking to you," You smiled being friendly.

"It was nice talking to you," He wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your cheek before leaving.

You still couldin't tell if Poe had a thing for you or not.
