I was annoyed.

He was coming.
You sure you're annoyed?

Yes, he was just gonna make things awkward tonight.
He's going to ruin all the fun.

And what fun is that exactly? You and your five dollar smoothie shots with your cringy dance moves?

Our cringy dance moves. Our.

But apparently I was the only one feeling that way.

The others had complied with his change in arrangements almost immediately and carried on chatting and laughing.

And here I was, sitting in the front seat, which I was mentally coerced into sitting in, while the others had fun in the back and Damon driving right next to me.

Mentally coerced?

Yes, I tried to sit in the back but one look from him had me squirming in the front seat.
Although, I had a feeling it was because Ryan was sitting at the back too. His wolf really did not like him near me, I'm even surprised he let him in his van.

By the way, said van didn't look the way I imagined it at all. I thought we would be sitting in a sprinter type van, but this was definitely a luxury vehicle. I didn't quite hear the full name the guys mentioned but I caught that it's a Vauxhall.
The interior was sleek with beige and black leather seats. The floor was covered in a matching beige carpet as well, and it looked so soft and clean, I nearly didn't want to step on it.

The dashboard was a very dark polished brown with so many neon green buttons at the center I wanted to press them all. Even the stereo looked high tech. I couldn't also help miss the cup holders by our sides ready to hold my drink if I had one. But that was just for the front.

The back of this car totally resembled a limo.
The seats were arranged in a form of a 'U' shape, two rows of seats facing each other and a section like a mini sofa joining the rows on the left side, meaning that there was only one door to the right. The place where the left door should have been was replaced with the mini sofa beige leather seat. I also caught two small screens fixed into the right side of the car, and from the way Daryl stared at the back of my head, I'm guessing there was a screen behind my seat too. Although, the drivers seat had none.

They hardly focused on the screens anyway as they could all face each other and laugh the night away.

But hey, its not so bad sitting by him is it?
He's a great conversationalist.

Really?

Okay, good point there. But he's hot.

I'll give him that.

He'd put his shades back on and the sun just setting bathed his face with a strange orange light that just seemed to weirdly enhance his features.

If possible.

Okay, quit staring! He's gonna catch you.

Seriously, what do you want from me?

To look, but not in a creepy way.

I'm not creepy, I do my staring very diplomatically for your information.

Yeah right, we all know how discrete you can be.

Fine.

I turned and faced my window shaking my head off all my thoughts.

I heard a slight chuckle from beside me and I just had to turn to see if my ears were deceiving me.

But there was a slight smile playing on his lips.

I wonder what's going on in his head.
