Aurora's POV:

Once I got to Stella's that night, she let me cry, yell, scream, and anything I had to do to make me feel better. After I let out all my raging and unwanted emotions, I was calm enough to explain the story.

"Okay...", Stella began, "Wanna tell me what happened now?"

We were both on her couch, sitting next to each other, engulfed in a blanket.

"Sure.", I agreed.

I took a deep breath, preparing to re-live the moment.

"So, the restaurant was nice and everything. Food was great, employees were great. This one waitress was flirting with Brendon after she was being rude to me. I was already surprised that Brendon didn't defend me but what had me more at shock was when Brendon began flirting back with her. He even agreed to give her his number. All the while I'm sitting across from him in disbelief. Finally, I excuse myself to the bathroom, crying. And after a few minutes Brendon comes after me. He knocks on the door and calls my name until I finally open it. When I do, his hair is messed up and the girls red lipstick is stained on his lips. Can you believe him?"

Stella's eyes were wide when I looked back at her, "That's when you texted me..."

I nodded.

"Wow.... Aurora. That was awful of him. If he was doing that, he's not worth your time. He's nothing. I think you should go back tomorrow to get your stuff and that's it.", Stella concluded.

"Waste of four years...", I mumbled.

"Hey, hey, hey,", Stella put a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't say that. He taught you a lot of things. How to love, how to deal with heartbreak, that people can change, how to forgive...", she mumbled the last part.

"What are you implying, Stell?", I wondered.

"Nothing, you had to have forgiven him for something at some point.", She explained.

I cocked my head.

"You know,"

"I don't ever remember any slip-ups he's made. I think we've been rock solid until now."

Stella smiled. "Maybe he just cracked. Maybe wanted a little action. Maybe he was bored."

I raised an eyebrow. "Bored with what? Our relationship?"

She nodded.

"Well, I told him when we first got together I wanted to take it slow-"

"Roar, that was four year ago."

I nodded.

And for the rest of the night, we reasoned out why Brendon did the things he did, but it was pointless. None of us happened to be psychics, we couldn't just guess and check.

Before I went to bed, I came to a conclusion that talking to Brendon was the only way to decide what I feel about him.

•••

The next morning, Stella dropped me off at Brendon's to get my stuff. I still haven't fully complied what I felt about the situation, and I was on and off.

I love him.

No, what? I hate him.

So much.

There was no in-between.

So that's what brought me to his front door, knocking at it vigorously.

Soon enough, the door opened to reveal a sleep-deprived Brendon. What I expected.

"Hi.", he said sheepishly, smiling and waving his hand, shyly.

God, that was cute.

"Hi.", I replied.

"Well, d-do you want to get your stuff? Or we could talk?", The last part was barely audible.

"How about we talk?"

Brendon grinned happily at my request and motioned for me to come inside. To which I did.

I sat next to him on the couch, enough room in between us for another person.

He was wearing the same button-up from last night. Tie slung around his neck. And-oh, boxers. Great.

"Well...", he began.

"I-", we said at the same time.

"No, you go first.", I said.

"No, you're better at this.",  Brendon dignified.

"What do you mean?", I questioned.

"Like, you're better at taking control. Working through problems. Me on the other hand...", He chuckled a little at the end, then waved his hand over to say 'never mind'.

"Bren?"

"Hm."

"Do you remember any other problems we had in this relationship?", I admitted.

His eyes widened and he cocked his head, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Well, yeah. But, the thing is, you can't focus on them. Every relationship has problems. It's normal. And I know in the heat of the problem you feel like it's not worth it, but the time apart or the time you spend being mad at the other really brings you together, in the end. There's going to be way more problems to come, and I'm up for it if it means I get to be with you. But what I'm not up for if you aren't feeling like the good times overpower the bad.", Brendon preached.

Then I remembered why I said yes that cold April night he asked me to be his girlfriend. We were under a tree, on top of a hill, looking at the stars.

I couldn't say no to the twinkle in the eyes and the sparkle in his soul. I couldn't deny the cheer in his smile and the heart burning between us.

Despite the problems or the issue that has recently occurred, me and Brendon were meant to be together. The passion was there, the love was real.

"Babe,", Brendon said.

"What?", I asked.

"You did that thing again. Where you accidentally say what you're thinking."

He smiled and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back.

"I love you.", I say.

"I love you, too, Aurora. So much.", Brendon said.

"I guess I'll come home, now."

A/N: Heyy. So, I didn't like this ending as much but I thought it was a pretty good story. Anyway, it'll be the end of this multiple-part story. Next chapter will be a completely different story. If you want, I could do like a flashback part that goes back to when they first got together, but it's up to you guys. Thanks so so so much for reading. I hope you liked it!
