Brendon's POV:

It was a dick-move, what I did to Aurora. And I immediately regretted it.

I was trying to make her jealous, but I took it too far. I can't believe security didn't come until after the waitress managed to grab my face and kiss me.

It is what it is.

I calmed myself down by looking at the stars. As I did so, tears streamed down my face and ideas flooded my mind.

How to get her back...

I planned on writing a song and showing up at Stella's house to sing it to Aurora after I give her a few days to calm down.

After that, I'll explain everything but make sure she knows I know I have no excuses to make and it was wrong what I did.

Tomorrow, I get to see her again and maybe we'll get to talk a little, but I'm not expecting much.

I got in my car and when I started the engine, Soul Punk started playing.

It was Aurora's CD that she put in the car on our way here.

She was singing out the lyrics and bopping her head along to the beat.

"They call me a music junkie.", she would say every time I questioned her, which I rarely did anymore.

"I'm a cheat, cheat, cheat. Yeah, I'm a cheat, cheat, cheat."

"Yeah thanks for the fucking help, Patrick!", I yelled, running a hand through my hair.

I put my hand on the sunroof to constrict myself from pulling my hair out.

"If you're unfaithful, put your hands in the air, hands in the air-"

"Fuck you, Patrick! Okay? Fuck you, you beautiful ray of sunshine that guilts me into everything! Makes me feel bad about myself cause you're so perfect! Gah, you're what Aurora deserves! Someone sweet, and honest, and true."

I calmed down by the last sentence, and I pulled out the CD, carefully taking it out and putting it back in this case.

"Wow, I didn't know you felt that way about me. But, you know, I am married."

I turned to see Patrick and Pete on the sidewalk.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "What the hell are you guys doing here?", I asked.

"Pokémon.", Pete answered, showing me his phone.

Patrick nodded. "Wanna talk?"

•••

After I explained to them what happened, and Pete laughed as the lyrics to Patrick's song correlated to my situation, we headed back to my house to sort things out.

"So you're gonna write her a song to make her forgive you?", Pete asked.

"Yeah, pretty much. I'm very eloquent when I'm passionate. This is something I'm passionate about.", I responded.

"Cheating?", Patrick wondered.

"Aurora.", I corrected.

Pete and Patrick helped me plan what to say to Aurora, and soon enough it was 12am.

"Okay, guys. Thanks for everything, but I wanna be well rested for when Aurora comes. Wouldn't want to miss her."

"Too late for that anyway."

They looked at each other thoughtfully.

"Well, okay. Call us tomorrow!", They shouted as they left my house.

"Goddamnit, Aurora."

A/N: Aye. So, some of this was funny. Some was sad. In general, I'm proud of it. I'll probably get the next and final part of this out later today, so look forward to that. Thanks for reading! Hope you guys liked it.
