Aurora's POV:

"So, Aurora. This is Ryan. Ryan, this is Aurora.", Brendon introduced, clapping his hands together and smiling.

"Hi, Ryan. Nice to meet you.", I grinned, grabbing his hand and shaking it.

"Nice to meet you too, Aurora."

Ryan's a really cute guy, he has this thick brown hair like Brendon and it's styled similarly, only a little more floppy. And his eyes are a deep brown color, like Brendon's. And he has the cutest nose ever.

Brendon's is like a fucking walrus, but that's okay. He's still hot as hell.

"So. I'm gonna let you guys get to know each other while I go pick up the cake. Sound good?", Brendon asked.

"Yeah, that's fine.", I said.

"No problemo.", Ryan assured.

Soon enough, Brendon was out of the living room and in our driveway, leaving Ryan and I left to talk. I'm surprised that he just left considering Brendon gets really jealous, really quick.

"So, Aurora...", Ryan snapped me out of my thoughts.

I smile in return.

"What do you do?"

The seemingly never-ending, reoccurring question. No matter how many times I repeat my act, it never stands too tall compared to Brendon's.

"Well, I write and draw. A little photography, too.", I respond.

He smiles, "That's so cool! A fan of art, I can tell."

I laughed and blushed a little, "Guilty."

"Brendon tells me you're still making music?", I ask.

Ryan sighs and runs a hand through his hair, "Yeah, I guess. We're not really getting too far, though. The only fans I have are ones that liked Panic! or the ones that liked The Young Veins."

I can see his irritation in how easily he opened up to me.

"Are you assuming it's of pity? Because I've heard your voice before and-", I begin.

"No, of course not. You're right, I shouldn't act like this. I should be grateful.", Ryan acknowledges.

"It's okay to be frustrated. I understand.", I support.

Ryan raises an eyebrow at me, "How so?"

I smile, "How do you think I feel being famous for my work only because I'm dating Brendon?"

He chuckles and nods, "Rough."

I chuckle, too. "Agreed."

Me and Ryan continue talking about music, and our passions. Our conversations get really firey at some points, but the support never seems to die down. I really enjoy hanging out with him, this is something I could get used to.

Finally, Brendon arrives back with the cake in his hands. He cheers as he enters our house.

"Honey, I'm home!" He shouts, sarcastically.

I laugh, but before I could say anything in return, Ryan chimes in.

"Thank God, babe! I was starting to miss you.", He laughs as he takes the cake from Brendon.

"Ryden.", I try to cover with a cough.

Brendon glares evilly at me, "You really wanna go there?"

"To the truth? Uncover it, baby. Tell us all how real-", I start.

"You can't call me baby then proceed to tell me that Ryden is real."

We all laugh it off as Ryan places the cake on the table.

I lift off the lid on on the cake are the words,

Ryden Is Real

A/N: I would write a second part but I don't think it's that big of a deal. Like I have an idea, but it's short and I'm not sure if it's worth it. Anyway, thank you all so so much for reading, commenting, and everything you guys do for me. We're roughly 300 away from 1k reads and that enough is crazy. I'm so thankful for all of you supporting me doing something k truly love, which is writing. I was thinking of doing something special for when I get 1k, so what would you guys like? I ask now cause I want to make it really good so I want to get started soon. Love you all. ❤️
