Well, Would You?

Aurora's POV:

I twisted my fork around the stray pieces of spaghetti, lingering my plate. I dozed off slightly, disregarding the streaky noises erupting from the contact. Dinner was never this quiet.

I slowly drew my gaze from my plate to Brendon, seeing his eyebrows furrowed as he watched the strand of spaghetti slowly side off of his fork. I bit my lip, curious to what caused the furrowed-eyebrow look.

"Bren?", I wondered, a slightly worried expression consuming myself.

He looked up at me with big eyes, "Yeah, doll?"

I loved it when he called me that. Not only was it adorable, but it was also a sign that he was in a good mood. Understandably, calming my nerves.

"Whatchya thinking about?"

Brendon's eyebrows furrow even more, causing them to appear connected. Once he processes what I said, his look weakens and he bites his lip, waving his hand over to say "Never mind it.".

"It's nothing...", he assured.

I raise an eyebrow, finally eating a string of pasta off of my plate, after what seemed as hours of me not using it.

"No, tell me.", I pleaded.

He smiled weakly, before looking at his plate then at me, biting his lip again.

"Uh...", he began.

I knew he was on the verge of cracking, but I could also sense a little anxiety.

"If you were a vegan, would you still swallow?"

As if my body refused to function, I press a hand to my chest as I actually choke on the words Brendon said. If you were a vegan, would you still swallow?

Brendon chuckles lowly at my reaction, and lightly blushes too, avoiding eye contact with his choking girlfriend. His hand goes to scratch his neck as his head is tipped down.

"Yeah, I didn't think you would-", Brendon starts.

I wave a hand in front of me, dismissing the thought.

"No, it just...", I punctuate my sentence, searching for the right word or phrase to express what happened between me and my head.

"Actually, I don't know what I expected. You are overtly sexual.", I reminded.

He nods, still blushing and looking embarrassed as hell. Now, I'm used to the question and I'm comfortable in the conversation we were in (unlike Brendon).

"Well, back to your question...", I said, in attempts to keep us on the, very weird, topic.

Brendon looks up at me hopefully, as if his life relied on my answer. I could have easily roll my eyes at the childish hopefulness he's displaying in his facial expression.

"Um... yeah. I mean, I would enjoy it. Why do you ask?", I say with confidence. Of course just portraying a fake, yet convincing, display of this artificial confidence.

He shrugs, "Didn't you try veganism?"

I bite my lip, recalling the memory of me explaining that story. It wasn't too long ago that I told him, but not recent enough for it to be relevant.

"Well, yeah. When I was like fourteen.", I exasperate.

Brendon just nods, smiling. Then, his head turns back to his plate as mine stays, grinning brightly to where his face was, before.

"So you're just gonna brush this off?", I chuckle.

He looks up from his plate with a puzzled expression.

"You ask me if I would swallow your semen if I were a vegan, without even giving me an explanation?"

At this time, me and Brendon have broken into an unbearable laughter.

"I guess I was wondering if you actually did pursued veganism, if you would still swallow. Just as the question sounded. No confusion.", He explains, knowing there's no good explanation for this.

"Scared?", I questioned.

Brendon nods, laughing a bit.

I reach over and rub his arm, "The places your brain goes...", I trail off.

"Oh, you should see what I'm thinking now.", Brendon smirks.

"Well, why don't you share with the class, Mr.Urie?", I challenge.

Brendon's eyes widen and he shuffles in his chair.

"First off, don't call me that, it turns me on.", A statement I outwardly chuckle at.

"Second, no thanks. I'm good."

I roll my eyes and return my face back to my plate.

Why am I dating this idiot?

A/N: Hey, everyone. It's ya girl back at it again with a nonsense update. This one kinda sucked, I know. It didn't really have like a focal point or anything significant, it was just greatly detailed as if it had importance, which I guess can be funny in some cases. Anyway, this is like a sample about what the stuff in my new book. Not much of a difference, as you can tell, but a little more exciting to say the least. As always, I'd like to thank all of you for reading, commenting, voting, following, sharing, all of the other wonderful things you do. Your comments make my day. Goodbye for now, loves!
