Aurora's POV:"Why is this worrying you so much, baby?", Brendon asked, tying his tie.
I couldn't answer his question, and I had a feeling he knew that. I just sighed and raised my shoulders, a bit.
"You know me, I get intimidated easily."
Now, that was one thing I could say, truthfully. I've always been that way, though. Like the little kindergartener, scared of the eighth-graders. At least, that was the way I described it.
"Darling there's nothing to be intimidated about. We're just going out with some of my friends.", He attempts to soothe me.
"But, Bren, what if they don't like me? They have a big impact on you and if they don't like me, it'll influence your opinion. Even if it doesn't go that wrong, then we can't do things together as a group and-", my rambling came to a well-needed end as Brendon quickly jumped in to cut me off.
"First of all,", he began by placing a hand on my shoulder, "If they don't like you, I don't like them. And second, they all are madly in love with you."
I craned my neck to observe Brendon's facial expression, to see if he was lying. He wasn't. Painted on his face was a serious and slightly aggravated expression.
"W-what do you mean?", I stutter.
Brendon gently placed his hands on my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder, "When they first saw you, they thought you were hot. Then as I kept talking about you, they thought you were perfect."
I pushed away so I could face him properly.
"I mean, not like obsessive love, it's more like if you were single they would ask you out for sure."
I nodded.
Then smiled, realizing I actually didn't have anything to worry about.
"Thanks, babe.", I said, planting a kiss on his cheek and patting his chest before walking to our room to complete my appearance for the night.
We were going to a banquet for one of his friends. His name was Dallon, I believe. The only other person there that I will know is Spencer, and only because he's been friends with Brendon for so long.
Me and Spencer immediately got along great and to this day we continue to go off and hang out alone. It's refreshing, knowing that he liked me enough to do that kind of stuff.
I walked into the bathroom to quickly put on a little makeup. I didn't want to seem fake hit I also didn't want to seem like a pig so I put on mascara and I fixed my eyebrows as well as applying a light matte shade of pink to my lips.
After ten minutes of that, I swiftly rushed out of the bathroom and into the living room where Brendon was on his phone, slouched over onto the armrest of the couch. I grabbed his hand, signaling that I was ready to leave.
His gaze turned to me as he locked his phone and put it in his pocket, standing up as well.
"Looking gorgeous.", he complimented.
I blushed and grinned heavily.
Brendon chuckled at the affect he had on me.
I grabbed my purse as we walked out of the house. I closed and locked the door, and finally we were in the car, driving to the banquet for Dallon.
Soon enough, Brendon's hand found it's way to my thigh, while the other stayed put on the steering wheel. We drove in silence to the banquet which was a quarter mile away.
