Aurora's POV:

I grazed my hand across the entire width of my closet. "What to wear, what to wear, what to wear...", I trailed off, softly.

I loved parties, and I especially loved dressing up for them. So, I liked to take my time with these kinds of things. Brendon, on the other hand, threw on the nearest t-shirt along with a suit jacket and slacks of any color he felt like accentuating that day.

As my hand was coming in contact with all the different fabrics and lengths and styles of clothing I had currently available in my closet, I hummed to myself.

My hand stopped on a sleeveless, royal blue dress. It made its way halfway down my thigh before ending its length.

I took the hanger off of the bar in my closet, to observed the dress a little bit better. I lay it down on my bed, straightening the ends.

"That one's pretty.", a voice boomed.

I turn around to see Brendon standing in the door way, eyes on the dress, hands in his pockets.

"You think?", I asked, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

Brendon nodded, coming closer to me.

"I think it would look really nice on you.", He complimented.

I smiled at him, "Thank you. I think I'll wear it, then."

He returned the smile, "I'll be looking forward to that."

Brendon's smile quickly grew into a smirk, which I giggled at.

"Until then,", He concluded, kissing my head.

"Until then,", I returned.

Then, he was gone.

Once I had finished my shower, I decided not to put on my dress because it might get dirty throughout the rest of the process of getting ready.

I wrapped a towel around myself and made my way back into the bedroom, bringing my undergarments. This was where I quickly pulled out a pair of grey joggers and a plain white t-shirt.

I sighed and sat down on the bed, clutching the clothes in my hand. Taking a small break before I traveled back to the bathroom

I must have gotten Brendon's attention when he heard the shower turn off, because our gazes aligned as he stepped into the room.

"Brendon, get out. I have to get dressed.", I sighed.

"How much longer, babe? I think we have to go soon.", Brendon whined.

"I'll be done in about half an hour, that is if you leave, now.", I retorted.

He nodded and reluctantly walked out waving, as he closed the door. "Love you.", I heard muffled through the closed door.

"Love you, too."

Finally, I made my way back into the bathroom where I got dressed into the makeshift outfit I brought in with me.

After that, I put on my make up and blow-dried my hair so I could then curl it.

Then it was time for my dress, which I slid on with ease. I put on black heels to go along with it, too.

I hopped out of the bathroom and journeyed around the house to find Brendon.

"Babe?", I called, entering the living room to see Brendon on the couch with his phone.

As I expected he was wearing a random t-shirt with a suit jacket and dress pants. How original.

"Hm?", he hummed.

"Ready to go?", I asked. (A/N: hA)

"Yeah. Come on."

We got in the car and quickly drove off to Dallon's house, where the party was being held.

Once we got there, Brendon held my waist as he lead me up to the door and knocked on it.

When there was no answer, he just went ahead and opened it, him and Dallon being good friends.

There was no one there.

"Where did the party go?", Brendon scoffed.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Sly bastard...", I mumbled.

"We're without our friends at a party full of no one and you think it's time to quote Fall Out Boy?", I reminded.

"Hey,", he shrugged. "Maybe I can summon the boys."

I furrowed an eyebrow, "Were they supposed to be here?"

Brendon nodded.

It was silent for a moment before he started laughing hysterically.

"What?", I wondered.

"Wait. I got a good one."

"wHERE IS YOUR BOY TONIGHT I HOPE HE IS A GENTLEMAN-.", He had that voice he often uses to describe how he thought he sounded when he was 16.

"You suck.", I laughed, pushing him.

"Yeah, you do, too.", he smirked at me.

I scoffed.

"Hey, before you guys start fucking, I just want to point out how you destroyed our song.", Pete said from the stairs.

Once we noticed him, he started jogging down the stairs.

"Where were you guys?", I asked.

"We went upstairs to play a game.", he responded.

"Looks like you two were a bit ahead of us.", he winked.
