((The picture is you as a child))
~~3rd Person POV~~
(Y/N) found herself outside, walking amongst the garden. Upon looking at it she noted that when she gets the chance she should add more flowers to it, it didn't have near enough colours. However it was quite peaceful, she got lost in the tranquil silence of it all.
She came to a bench that was surrounded by trees and flowers, it looked like a lovely spot to sit and think. Her thoughts were still stirring, but when weren't they? While she may appear calm on the surface she often hides a hurricane of emotions behind false laughs and uncalled-for lies.
She lifted her knees onto the bench and cradled them in her arms, acting like a child. Such an unladylike position that in most cases she would have avoided sitting in, except for now. It made her feel slightly at ease as she hide her face from the world. As if curling up into a ball would cure all of her anxiety.
If I fail they'll probably send me back on the streets. I can't fail, I won't allow myself to fail. But... I know I'm not skilled enough when it comes to stuff like this. I'm good at getting information out of people, but possibly having to fight? I'm not as tough as I make myself look...
She buried her head deeper between her chest and legs, unsure what to do.
I wish I could help, I wish I was stronger, I wish I didn't doubt myself so much. I wish these things were easier.
She sighed aloud, not even lifting her head when the atmosphere around her seemed to change, and not in a good way. (Y/N) noticed that it seemed colder, sudden gusts of wind blew her long locks of luscious hair back from her sides, where it swayed. She only looked up when she heard an unfamiliar voice from behind her.
"Ah, so it was you that called. I was hoping it was." A wicked grin spread onto the face of the man who had appeared.
(Y/N) jumped up, completely removing herself from the bench and focusing herself back on her surroundings and the situation that she was suddenly handed.
Now how the hell did I not notice this change sooner?
Everything around them had gotten darker, it was pitch black actually. She could no longer see the pretty white roses. All she saw was dark, and in the dark she saw a man. (Y/N) brought her attention to trying to make out his features in the harsh light but found it near impossible. It was like he didn't even have any features on his face to see! On top of that it looked like his body below his waist turned into that of a snake?
Needless to say, (Y/N) was very puzzled. She even pinched herself, thinking it was all but a dream.
"Oh, I can assure you this is no dream, love." For some reason whenever he used an s in his speech he pronounced it in an odd way, one that reminded (Y/N) of the way a snake hisses.
What is it with this guy and snake-like features? This has to be a dream.
She assured herself, taking another look at the mans body, realizing it really was a snakes tail that trailed longer than she thought at first. It twisted around the room, slowly but surely moving together, encircling (Y/N)
She took no notice to it at first, for all she could see in the darkness was his body. She assumed it was longer, seeing as how it was a literal snake tail instead of legs but she had no idea it was already trapping her.
"W-who are you? Where am I? This can't be real, you can't be real." She was more so telling herself this, rather than the unknown 'man' standing before her.
