"As I was saying, the sender used the name 'Tom the Piper's Son'," Ciel leaned against a stack of crates.
"A mother goose character," (Y/N) added.
"Yes, though it seems like a strange alias," Ciel coughed, "Also the wax was sealed with a crest baring a horse and the letter k."
"Indeed, then it is the same seal I saw. Signet rings are usually engraved with a symbol and initial that represent the family. That means Tom the Piper's Son must have a coat of arms featuring a horse," Sebastian suggested.
(Y/N) began to drown the two out as they spoke, focusing on Ciel. He kept coughing, his face was red and his breathing ragged, he looked like he was going to pass out! Why didn't Sebastian seem to notice or care? Are demons that oblivious?
Ciel covered his mouth, leaning over and coughing into his hand, "Ciel!" (Y/N) cried, holding the boy in place, "Sebastian, don't you see what's happening? He's having an asthma attack!" She finally clued in on what was happening as her worry only increased when he slipped from her arms and onto the ground where he vomited.
"My lord! Is that what's happening?" Sebastian didn't seem to know what do to, as a demon he probably didn't know what was going on. He grabbed Ciel as he reached to his demon. Freckles, aka Doll came around the corner just as Ciel started to lose his consciousness.
"I told you something was wrong with him!" (Y/N) hissed, looking down at the now passed out boy in Sebastian's arms, "We have to get him to the medical tent, come on!" They ran off with Freckles tailing behind.
Ciel was being examined by Doc, his shirt open showing his chest, "It's an asthmatic fit."
"Asthma? Are you certain?" Sebastian asked.
"I told you so," (Y/N) muttered grimly, watching Ciel as he struggled to breathe.
"We've lived together for three years and I've never known anything of the sort to inflict him before today," Sebastian didn't know why Ciel wouldn't have told him about something like that, it could be life threatening.
"If he hasn't had an attack in three years he may be more or less cured, but sometimes patients relapse if they catch a cold or experience sudden stress," Doc pointed out.
"He's had colds before, they weren't like this," Sebastian disagreed.
(Y/N) glared at the girl beside her who for some reason was posing as a boy. She had put Ciel through a stressful situation and spilled cold water all over him in this horrible weather. It wouldn't be surprising if she caused it. Or maybe (Y/N) was just looking for someone, anyone to blame.
"It seems possible that there may be possible triggers this time. And I hear he had a bath outside with the rest of those loons, it's no surprise that he took a chill," Doc said just what (Y/N) had been thinking. (Y/N) did notice the look of regret on Freckles face and it made her soften her stone cold gaze, she didn't mean to do it and probably felt just as bad right now.
Ciel slowly opened his pretty blue eye, turning to look at his butler, "Wa-ter."
Sebastian walked around everyone to give Ciel some water and (Y/N) crouched down beside his bed next to Sebastian.
"Tell me Smile, has this sort of thing happened before? Were you asthmatic as a child?" Doc asked.
"A-Aunt Angeline..." Ciel closed his eyes again. His response caused (Y/N) to furrow her brows in concern. Who was Angeline? She'd never heard Ciel mention he had an aunt before, was she still alive?
