I found Sebastian easily enough, he was on his way up the stairs, most likely going to see Ciel.

"Ah, (Y/N), how did the meeting with young master go?" He stopped walking, turning his head to look at me.

"It went well, thank you for asking. He will be reporting it to the queen soon I would imagine. He told me to ask if there was anything you needed me to do?" I also stopped half way down the stairs, meeting his emotionless glance.

"Not currently. It is going to be a slow day here at the manor. You can take the day to yourself to relax, you deserve it after yesterday. Maybe take some time to explore our library, we have many books that may interest you," He winked, reminding me of my goal to find out more on the Phantomhive family. With a quick nod and bow I said goodbye to Sebastian and continued down the stairs, a small smile on my face. I was excited to learn more about my young master and his family, but I knew I had to go and meet Alastair before he came around looking for me again. I didn't need him to slip up and get himself seen by anyone here.

I headed outside and into the woods again, back to the same clearing, "Alastair, you can come out now," I sighed.

"Ah, that was fast my dear. I assumed I would have to come looking for you again," he was behind me, as always.

Why can't he just face me like a normal person?

"That's exactly what I was trying to stop from happening. I have the day to myself to rest after yesterday. I figured I would be better off getting this over with," I turned to look at him, noticing his relaxed stance leaning against a tall tree.

"Very well then. Shall we begin?" I nodded, wanting to get this over with as soon as possible, "Let's start with some push ups. After that we will do jumping jacks and sit ups, followed by a few laps through the woods. Think you can handle that?" He smirked at me.

"I shall try. I make no promises." I got down onto the ground and started the pushups, surprising myself yet again.

By the end of the training I felt tired and sore, Alastair made me do 10 laps through the woods, each one taking about 5 minutes.

"I have to do this every day?" I asked, leaning down and holding my knees to catch my breath.

"Not every day necessarily. We may switch up the routine to test other abilities," he said slyly. I didn't even want to ask what he meant.

"Fine. I should be getting back now, I have things to do," I stood up straight and started walking away.

"Oh? And I thought I had you all to myself for the day. I was going to suggest some other fun activities for us to do," he chuckled.

"I'm sure you were. I have research to do. Besides, I haven't eaten all day and I'm feeling quite parched. I'll be back tomorrow when I get a chance to slip away," I waved him off and didn't wait for a reply. I was back out of the woods, feeling tired and excited to start learning more about Ciel.

I made my way to the library after a quick stop in the kitchen to make myself some earl grey tea and a biscuit. The library was massive. I remember Sebastian mentioning that I could give it a quick clean earlier while I was in here. Luckily for me there was a duster hanging by the door.

Sebastian's definition of dirty is definitely much different than mine, there didn't seem to be much dust anywhere. Nonetheless I dusted what I could see needed it and then began my search. It didn't take long to find a book about nobles, another about the Funtom company, which Ciel had told me about, and a final one about the Phantomhive family. I took the three books and sat down at a table, first opening the one about the Funtom company.
