"Is this because I said Sebastian is better than you?" The small girl smirked, feeling her butler's anger radiating off of him.
"I would be lying if I said that didn't have anything to do with it. I don't like you pretending to be his lover. He's sneaky, as demons are. If he touches you-" The demon warned.
"Oh please, I don't like it anymore than you do but that's how it has to be. Sebastian did what he had to in that situation," (Y/N) shrugged her shoulders, leaning against the wall.
"Really?" Alastair stood up, "He couldn't have just said you were a friend? Someone he worked with?"
"...I guess he could have," Her red eyes closed, trying not to think about it too hard. She wasn't overly fond about the idea of pretending to be in love with a demon, but she did walk right into it.
"Exactly. I don't like it. You belong to me," Alastair grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up into his eyes as they flashed magenta, "I don't like when someone else touches what belongs to me."
"I don't belong to you," She slapped his hand away, ruby eyes hardening, "Don't forget your place, you are my butler and are under my control. I don't have to listen to you and I will be going along with this until the case is solved. It is my duty. And it is your duty to let me do what I need to do unless I'm in danger. Which I am not. So stop being jealous and quit your complaining."
The girl was no longer as afraid of the man in front of her as she once was, quivering in his presence. She had realized after watching Ciel and Sebastian that a demon must always follow the rules of the contract and listen to their master if they ever hope to get their soul.
"I see. Just be careful, mistress, he is still a demon after all," The demon turned away from his prey, knowing he had to do as told, "Would you like to practice for tomorrow?"
"No, I'm tired. I'm not a demon like you, I need sleep. I'll see you in the morning," (Y/N) barely took a second glance as her butler left her alone to sleep and dream of simpler times.
It seemed like everyone in the circus had joined around to see the two teens in action, not just the main cast. (Y/N) was back to wearing the blue maids dress which she looked adorable in, Ciel was dressed as a peasant to better fit in.
"Well look at this one, such an adorable little sprog you've brought us. You are a boy, aren't you?" Joker asked Ciel, to which (Y/N) couldn't help but giggle.
Ciel played along well, "Yes, I've been in service as a page boy for some time now, my name is... um..." (Y/N) wanted to facepalm, that was clearly something Ciel should have thought of sooner, "Finnian. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
(Y/N) thought of the gardener at home, comparing him to the earl beside her. The two were night and day!
"Quite an imposing name for a sprout like you. Don't worry, we'll give you a proper stage name!" Joker leaned down, studying Ciel's face, "Are you really sure you're a boy though?"
"Quite sure."
(Y/N) looked over since Joker was focusing on Ciel first and noticed an array of girls surrounding Sebastian, clearly smitten by his deviously handsome good looks. The girl blinked at the scene in front of her. She didn't much care of course, but considering the roles they were currently having to play, she would have to act jealous.
She stormed up to Sebastian, grabbing his arm, "I'm so nervous, you promise you'll support me when it's my turn?" She blinked up at the demon, bringing fake tears to her eyes. She was beyond being an excellent actor.
