*The Next Morning*
Asa had stayed over that night. I woke up this morning to a door slam down the stairs and angry stomping.
"Uh oh.." I said, rubbing my eyes. Asa was only in his boxers and I was in a thin nightie.
"Gemma?" My mom said, her eyes bloodshot with a lack of sleep.
"Mom?" I asked, cautiously, grabbing a dressing gown. Asa was still sleeping.
"Gemma. I didn't really mean for you to do it! I was just joking around!" She said, exasperated. She looked shocked when she still saw him in my bed.
"I'm sorry! We used protection! I promise we did!" I said, almost crying to get my point across.
"I know, I know, but Mrs Greene complained to me about 'you frisky teenagers'!! I didn't half get an earful!" Mom said, rubbing the bridge of her nose. She laughed though and I did too.
"But Gemma, you must use protection! You are a sensible girl and Asa's a sensible boy. I do know that, but sometimes the condom breaks! And then were will you be?" I felt so embarrassed.
"I know mom, I know, he doesn't buy cheap ones you know!" I quoted Asa.
"He probably doesn't. But anyway, I'm going to go and get some sleep. See yous!" She gave me a hug then walked out of the room into her own. I checked my watch and saw that it was 5:39 in the morning. Yawning, I crawled back into bed and cuddled into Asa's arms. I yawned one last time before falling into a deep sleep.
