A/N - Hey guys! Sorry for not updating, we have some exams and I'm just stressed, so yeah! The worst of then are over so... I should be fine.

"Want to get out now?" I asked everyone. The later the evening got, the more crazy people started to arrive. One teenage boy started chatting me up while I was sitting at the edge of the pool swishing my legs and laughing at Asa and Aramis 'wrestling' in the water.

"Hey babe, you single?" The boy asked, sidling up close to me. I backed away, only to be followed by him. He had brown hair and light blue eyes, pretty tasty, but I had Asa.

"No, sorry. I'm taken," I said cautiously. The boy looked taken aback. Then, he pointed over to Aramis and Asa.

"Which one's the lucky fella?" He asked. I pointed to the dark haired, blue-eyed boy, who was now glaring at us. I waved back awkwardly and mouthed 'save me!'

"Oh... C'mon, you can do better than Ass-ah Butterfield!" I raised an eyebrow.

"Excuse me, how do you know him?" I asked.

"Brandon?" Asa asked, properly focusing on him. His eyes narrowed.

"Ass-ah,"

"It's Asa actually," Asa corrected him.

"Same difference. Who would've thought you'd end up with a beautiful girl like.." he turned to me, wanting me to tell him my name.

"Gemma.. You two know each other then?" I asked, pointing between them. They nodded at exactly the same time.

"Uh-huh. Asa bullied me all the way through 5th grade. Because apparently he was 'better than me' because he made it into the world of acting," Brandon said, glaring at Asa from the memory. I gaped at Asa.

"Asa? Is this true?" He gulped. "Asa, I said, is this true.." I wasn't just asking him, I was demanding him.

"Yeah... I was young and stupid, can we just forget about this please?" Asa babbled.

"You also stole my first proper girlfriend. Amanda," Brandon smiled at the memory, then scowled again.

"Yeah, as I said, I was young and stupid, I'm sorry, c'mon Gemma, Danielle and Aramis are getting impatient! Look, Brandon, I'm sorry for all that happened, maybe we can talk about it some other time, but now, we really need to go," He grabbed my wrist and pulled me, I nearly toppled into the water.

"No," I said firmly. "You can go on. I want to make friends with Brandon." I said, because I was starting to feel sorry for him. Brandon smiled gratefully at me, not a creepy perverted smile, but a nice genuine grin. I smiled back.

"Gemma," Asa had pleading eyes. I shook my head.

"Look, I'll meet you over there," I pointed. "in 10 minutes. Deal?" Asa didn't look like he wanted to deal, but didn't pursue it further, because he knew just how stubborn I was.

"Deal," He finally said, before swimming over to join a very confused looking Danielle.
