I ran out of Brooklyns' drive. I heard Asa call after me, but I didn't answer. He ran out to follow me.
"Gemma! Please baby!" He said, and he grabbed my arm. I tugged him off.
"Don't fucking touch me!" I yelled.
"Please please please, let me explain!" He said. I stopped.
"What is there to explain!" I screamed, tears running down my face.
"Well.." He started. There was a long pause. I shook my head.
"See?" I started to run again.
"Gemma! I'm so sorry." His voice cracked. I didn't turn back around.
My mom was at work when I got home. I ran straight up to my room and sobbed into my pillow. I heard my phone ring but I left it.
"I hate him," I murmered into my pillow. I got up and got into my pajamas and then turned on the TV. What didn't help, was that the Enders Game advertisment was on. I hastily grabbed the remote and switched the TV off again.
I heard a knock at my door. I looked down and saw it was Asa.
"I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU." I screamed out the window.
"But I have something too say to you! Please Gemma!" He kept calling me. I went into the bathroom and got a bucket and filled it up with freezing water. I poured the water over him.
"Ok. I deserved that," He said, wiping his eyes and blinking rapidly.
"Yes you did." I shouted. "Oh and Asa? Don't come calling for me again, don't phone me, don't talk to me, don't even LOOK at me. We're finished. Do you understand? FINISHED!" I slammed my window shut too prove my point and shut the blinds. I then burst out crying.
