There was a really long queue for the water ride. I looked at it nervously, and saw that there were 2 drops, one small and the other ginormous. I didn't know how I was gonna cope!
"Oh God," I giggled shakily, watching this family go down. Their faces were priceless!
"I'm going to buy the photo!" Asa said, laughing at the next set getting soaked. We were next. Asa paid the man this time, and we got into the log thing, Asa first. I hooked my hands around his torso and laid my face on his back.
We went up the conveyor thing to the first drop. It was only a little one, but I still screamed. My hair blew around me and got tangled in my face.
"That was fun!" Asa laughed shakily. But we weren't finished yet.
When we reached the top of the biggest one, I made a peace sign with my hand and pouted for the little camera thingy. Asa stuck his hands up in the air and down we went. We got absolutley DRENCHED!
"WOAH!" I said, laughing. "That was soo fun, I wanna do it again!" I said, stepping off the log and thanking the ride attendant, who checked me out. He was only about 16 or 17 too. Asa glared at him, but I quickly hurried him along.
We went over to the little booth and saw our photo. It was number 315 on the board, and it was hilarious!
"Oh God, I have to buy it! Number 315 please," I said to the woman behind the counter. She nodded and typed in the number.
"This one?" She turned her computer screen to face us. I nodded. "How many copies?"
"2 please." I said. She nodded, and started to print it out.
"That will be 7 dollars please." She said, as I handed her a 10. "Keep the change," I wandered off and found Asa. I handed him a copy.
"There," I said. He opened it up and laughed.
"Thank you Gemma," He said, kissing my forehead as I giggled. I got out my phone and snapped a pic and posted it on Twitter as Asa posted it on Instagram.
"Well, anything else before we go?" I asked, looking around.
"I don't really think there IS anything else," Asa said, also looking around.
"No, me neither. Lets go home, I'm cold." I said, shivering. We were also dripping wet so that didn't help!
"Yours or mine?" He asked.
"I don't mind," I smiled.
"Mine then," Asa took my hand and we went.
