*Gemma's POV*
I screamed after him. "Asa! Asa, please don't I'm sorry! I'll do whatever you want!" I shouted, tears running down my face. Too late, he was already gone. I sat down on the bed and cried, sobbing. I needed to call Danielle.
"Hello?!" Danielle was her cheerful and chirpy self.
"Hi." I was at the gulping stage, even though tears were still running down my face.
"Gemma? What's wrong babe?" She asked, sounding worried.
"Come over to my house. 22 Pembridge Avenue. Pronto." I said, and I disconected the call.
10 minutes later, Danielle arrived with ice cream and some chick flicks. As soon as she saw me, she dropped the bags and ran up too me.
"Oh, Gemmy," She said, calling me by an old nickname. I sobbed even harder.
"What happened? Please tell me babe!" She said, rubbing my back. "God, you're not.." She gestured at my belly.
"No, no. But.. Well, I'll tell you the whole story. Me and Asa, I think we're over. Because, he took me out on a date and it was absolutley fab. I loved it, and so did he.
Anyway, we came back here and we started... Kissing and touching but nothing full on. He started putting his hand up, touching my bra straps and I didn't like that. I told him no and he called me frigid. I said something like 'if you think im frigid them go to that girls house' pointing at the door. You know, Isabella, Isamena, something like that. He just said 'maybe I will' and walked out!!" I was crying at this time. "And he hasn't come back since!"
"Gemma! What a mean horrible rotten thing to do!" She grabbed me some tissues and dried my eyes for me. "But, look, I have some movies we could watch. And Ice cream and chocolate! How about that?" She said, and she grabbed the bags again.
"Yeah, sounds good." I snuffled. "Come up into my room,"
"Great!" She said happily and rushed up after me.
Boyfriends are good, but best friends are even better.
