I sighed, tossing the pencil across the room angrily. Hansol scoffed at the scene, lightly hitting my arm. "What was that for?"
"I can't figure out the answer to number six."
"Oh, you juniors and your algebra two." He joked and I kicked him in the ankle. He laughed. "What? I'm just saying."
"Fuck you."
He whined. "Not now, I'm tired." I kicked him in the same ankle again and he started cracking up more.
―
Hansol and I scattered to the front door and met with Jiho and Hojoon.
"Hey." They said in unison, which we allowed them to come inside.
Time skipped to when Hojoon started clinging with Hansol. Maybe I was showing some jealousy because Jiho whispered in my ear. "Hojoon clings with everyone, so don't worry."
I turned to him with a smile. "Bet he clings to you the most, huh?" I was shoved off the bed.
―
"What the fuck?"
The scenario was too weird, Sehyuk was throwing basketballs at the wall while Hyosang was singing loudly into a microphone. Hint, he wasn't trying at all.
This is why gym class never goes smoothly.
"Come on." Sehyuk smiled, pulling me aside to join them in this odd two-man party. I glanced over to see Sanggyun chatting with a girl in the bleachers and laughing at whatever she said. Glad he found some peace, at least.
―
"Wow, what a nice couple you two are." A group of boys approached us with laughs.
"Thanks, now leave us alone."
"No, I think I want to have some fun with the slut over here." One of them came over to grab onto Hansol's neck but I quickly fixed that problem by kicking him in the stomach.
I made sure that was the last time he ever put his hands on Hansol.
"You know what I said."
―
"My baby's almost graduating, oh my god!" Eomma squealed and held onto Hansol with a tight squeeze. "Precious child, I can't wait to watch you in that cute little gown!"
Hansol looked quite hilarious, his facial expression saying "help me" while eyes glued onto me. Instead of doing what he wished, I popped up from the couch and tackled them both with a hug. I repeated mother's words as well. "Our little Hansol is graduating."
―
Hansol asked over the receiver excitedly, letting me rest my ear on the other side to talk as well.
"Taeyang, are you coming to graduation?"
"Anything for my two favourite students."
Hansol squealed and hugged me tightly while I smiled and thanked Taeyang for his support all this year. I didn't mean to get sentimental, but I did. I mean, I might as well have his class next year, too, but it's still worth thanking him now.
―
"When's the last time you've cut?"
"A month."
"Let me see."
"Sure."
"You're not lying."
"I couldn't lie to you."
