i can't ever calm down when i find this book in someone's reading list, you know that? i love you guys, i cant thank you enough for all of this oh my godssss

since i only have the prologue and half of chapter one rewritten, i can confirm that the second version might take a while. i'm planning on rewriting a few chapters (my goal is 4 or 5) before i publish it.

so for those who want to read it and are waiting, how about i tell you guys some things to expect in the new one? ( don't worry, no spoilers!! )

1. my writing has improved.

ok so i cringe a lot when i look over this because some things just make you "what?????"

some of it was on purpose though, since byungjoo and hansol are two completely different people.

i.e. byungjoo kind of flew by things and had more irony and humor into his sentences, hansol was more descriptive and put his heart into every word.

2. some characters have changed.

hahaha oh god.

what i can tell you without spoiling is:

- byungjoo literally has no filter whatsoever

- hansol's family is a bit more complicated

- not just well-liked boys, but girls too

- sohee exists???

don't worry though, eomma and mr. taeyang are still as great as can be :))

( if not better )

3. death.

okay so it's not a major character, but they do die and it's mentioned a lot throughout the book so if the feels weren't enough for you then :")

4. THINGS ARE EXPLAINED !!!

oH my god i never had explanations in this one

like hello exCUSE ME WHERE'S THE CONCLUSION

i have explanations but ik it's not fun unless you find out through the book

which is why i'm being more careful and taking my time in writing the new one

funny tho, some people in the comments actually guessed them before--

5. still the same plot.

i'm not making any major changes, but there'll be new scenes and you'll probably get a few chapters in the pov of people other than byungjoo and hansol.

some chapters (including the first chapter) will be altered just a bit, so pls don't skip even if you think it's the same :c

6. symbolism.

alright if you know me and my other books, then you know my favourite thing while writing is foreshadowing and symbolism.

even if it's tiny, it's there and it means something. [👀]
