After some quick goodbyes our group packed into the car again, most of the short ride was silent other than the directions to pack quickly and go to our rooms. We left Calum to tell Alex we were leaving and headed upstairs to pack as quick as we could.
"Thank god we finally get to get out of this crazy guy's house, I just hope we make it out." Raine said tossing all her clothes in her suitcase in a frenzy.
"What do you mean 'if we make it out'?" I looked at Raine but still throwing  clothes into my suitcase I wanted to get out of this house as soon as possible.
"This guy is dangerous and he's been hitting on you since you got here if he decides he doesn't want you to leave then he's going to be a bitch to get by."
Raine said looking over her stuffed suitcase. She was right except he was outnumbered, a werewolf and two badass vampire killers and I taught Raine everything I knew about fighting if she is ever in a bad situation she can handle herself. But I was there to make sure that she never gets into a situation at all.
Raine and I both jumped when Calum appeared at our door.
"Jesus" I murmured under my breath, this house was really getting to me.
"I've told Alex, he didn't seem to happy about it." Calum whispered. Raine gave me a told you so look. I sighed.
"He'll live, goodnight Calum" I said with a tinge of anger, I really couldn't wait to get out of this house.
"Night" He called heading to his room, I could here Brad packing his mere belongings. Once Raine and I finished packing it was almost midnight, we flopped onto our bed and went to sleep in minutes.
I flew up in bed, I heard floorboards creak. The bedside clock read 2:40, I looked around frantically the clocks light was like a flashlight in a black hole, nonexistent. I looked blindly around the room, floorboards creaked again, closer. My best option was to blindly hit whoever was in the room, do I call for help is there more than one of them? I had no time to decide hands grabbed my throat roughly, I started to struggle until someone's hot alcohol filled breath panted behind my ear.
"You struggle or call for help this gun" Alex stopped and a gun clicked in the darkness. "Is pointed at your little friend." I gasped, well tried to his arm was wrapped tightly around my neck, I was stuck no way was I gonna put Raine in danger. Suddenly a light clicked on, Raine must have been woken up by the click of the gun. She sat up in bed rubbing her eyes.
"Asha what are you doing it two in the mor—" Raine's eyes went round as saucers.
"Don't move our called for help or I put a bullet in both of your heads." Alex threatened. Raine looked from me to the door, I nodded.
"I said don't move." Alex whispered yelled, shoving the gun's barrel into my ribs. Raine knew what to do, I wasn't sure how much I could do with my leg in the state it's in but as long as Raine got out out of the room and got help I wouldn't have to worry for long. I snapped my fingers as a sign for her to run, Calum was distracted by my movements he didn't notice Raine until she was at the door. Just as he pointed the gun at Raine I threw my head back, a sickening crack made me surge with rage, blood dribbled down Alex's chinned didn't even see me coming, I kicked out and grabbed the gun at the same time. Alex's grip on the gun fumbled and I snatched it away throwing it to the other side of the room.
But in my haste to get the gun away I didn't see Alex until he rammed me into the wall, grabbing my wrists he painfully held them above my head.
"You ruined it bitch I had the whole night planned and you ruined it. But I can work with this." Alex's murky eyes drifted down my body ravishingly. I spat in his face, which when being held hostage I do not recommend. His face turned deep red, a vein in his forehead popped.
"Do not disrespect me" where was Raine. Just as I was thinking that slicing pain made me scream, I looked down. Alex's hand was twisting in my newly opened gash, I could feel the stitches breaking as he twisted his hand, a single tear rolled down my cheek as I struggled to keep a straight face.
"Don't like that you little bitch well what happens next is gonna hurt even mo—" Alex was cut of. Brad came out of nowhere, he punch Alex square in the temple. Alex went flying to my left and landed in the bookshelf, books tumbled down. I looked down at my leg, blood was almost pouring out. I couldn't move so I just slid down the wall and landed on the ground with a mall thump. I was to shocked to notice the fight going on to the left of me.
"Not so strong anymore you wh—" Alex was once again cut short, Brad was snarling in rage.
"Asha!" Raine screamed. Calum was right on her heels.
"Raine gather all the luggage and throw it in the car."
"No, no don't let her go out there alone." I whispered.
"Shhh Asha it's okay I'll do it, Raine can you pick her up?" Calum was in war mode.
"Of course" Raine was surging with adrenaline.
"Okay get her out of here and grab the first aid kit. Brad you got him?" Calum was grabbing bags.
    "Yep" Brad said fiercely.
"Are you just gonna let him beat me up we are friends help me out" Brad kicked Alex down.
"You're no friend of mine" Calum returned in a cold deadly voice.
