Calum eyes stayed on Alex's body laying on the ground before curtly turning and hoisting our bags over his shoulder before running out the door.
"Asha?, Asha!" Raine yelled. I flinched at her closeness.
"Yes?" I croaked, Raine sighed in relief.
"Okay, are you hurt anywhere else?" Ugh everything hurts, I really needed to get out more. I tried to sit up more but I was assailed by a sharp hot pain in my rib cage. I quickly lay back down, more tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Ouch." My voice quivered while I pointed to my ribs. Raine slid my shirt up, gasped and threw a hand over.
"It's broken isn't it?" If it was I would be defenseless to a threat.
"I, I." Raine stuttered. It couldn't be that bad could it?
"Spit it out Raine." I was getting worried.
"It's just that your, your" She looked at anything but my stomach.
"Oh for god sakes." I push myself onto my elbows as sharp pains threatened to drag me down. "Oh. My. God." I squeaked. My whole stomach was either bright red or tinged bluish black. My stomach was one big bruise, I was a human punching bag.
"Yeah that's what I want to see" Alex slurred in the corner, his lip and eye were swollen and bleeding. I quickly flip my shirt down to cover my abused of stomach, disgusted. Raine on the other hand was a volcano ready to erupt, she stood up slowly and walked calmly over to where Alex lay.
"I swear to god if you ever come near my friend again I will kill you" Raine's voice was calm and stoic.
"You little doll think you can hurt me, I trained to kill vampires. I think I can handle you." Alex said arrogantly.
"Don't judge a book by its cover." She shrugged. "Oh and I was taught by the best."
"Haha silly girl I'm the best" Alex replied like a three year old. I would have laughed if my ribs weren't like knives stabbing my insides.
"Oh then how did you get the scar." Raine smirked.
"Don't fuck with me you—" Brad was about swing at him, but before he could get to Alex Raine grabbed his throat and squeezed.
"Like I said, never come near my friend or I. Will. Kill. You" Raine yelled throwing Alex's body down to the floor. And like I said Raine can handle herself. Raine walked back over to me.
"Okay Asha, we need to get you out of here. But I have to lift you and it's gonna hurt like hell." I nodded, preparing myself for bombarding pain. Raine slid a hand behind my back and under my legs and as gently as possible.
"Ow, ow, ow." I cried out wrapping my arms around Raine's neck, more tears rolled down my face.
"I'm sorry Asha I'm sorry. Brad got there as fast as he could and Calum wasn't in his room, I should have stay I could have helped." Raine rambled heading down the stairs slowly, all her aged was gone.
"Raine there's nothing you could have done, he's insane." I replied clenching my fists and biting my lip. Raine made it to the bottom of the stair case.
   "I know it's just—"
"You bitch you tempted my boyfriend" Rachel screeched. She was standing by the kitchen table in her pink pajamas that had big block letters that read, QUEEN.
"Not in the in the mood Rachel." Raine spit out trying to move to the front door
