" ...So that would be the process... being line heads of your area... we would need your assistance to make sure that manning will not be compromised..." Sir Tudor said as we all listened while inside the board room.

Bottom line: kailangan din magpahinga ng mga staff. Bawas sa expenses and chance para maka rest ng lahat, including myself.

"Yes, pahinga!" isip ko.

"Any questions?" tanong ni Sir Tudor na walang sumagot.

"If ever, some come up, just ask me for clearances... that would be all. Thank you very much for staying for this meeting" pagtatapos ni Sir Tudor.

After this, nagtayuan na ang mga nasa meeting at nagsimula na lumabas ng room. Nang tumayo ako, I slowly walked to Sir Tudor fixing his papers near the end of the room.

"O, Ms. Santos, how may I assist you?" sabi niya ng umupo ako sa pinakamalapit na seat.

"Wala naman, Sir... I was just... enjoying the silence" I told him as I stared th the empty table.

"I know the feeling... ganyan pag overwhelmed tayo sa life... kailangan lang ng kahit ilang minute ng silence..." sagot ni Sir as he continued fixing his things.

" ... so... how about a cup of coffee before going home... via the traffic of Makati?" he said as he smiled at me.

"Sure Sir... bago natin sugurin ang natitira sa rush hour traffic" ngiti ko as I stood up from the table.

We went to our offices and fixed our stuff bago ko kinuha ang bag ko sa may tabi ng table. Dun ko naalala na binigyan pala ako n i Brent ng flowers.

"I can bring it down to the car" sabi ko as I took the bouquet in my arms.

"Nice bouquet, from an admirer?" tanong ni Sir na hinihintay ako sa may elevator.

"My boyfriend..." nakasmile kong sagot.

"Looks special and by the looks of it... expensive" sabi niya as he pressed the elevator button to basement parking.

We had some small talk sa elevator going down before both of us placed some of our things sa cars namin before going to the coffee shop across the street.

"Excited to plan your leaves?" tanong niya as we sat drinking our coffee that Sir treated me at a table near the window.

"Y-Yes... that would be something I look forward to Sir Tudor" I said as I took a sip on my cup.

"Call me Nathan, Gail... out of office naman na" tawang sagot niya.

"Sige, Sir Nathan" tawa ko.

Nagtawanan kami ni Sir for a few minutes, kasamang konti pang chit-chat about work. Then he asked me something that I didn't think about for a long time.

"So... Gail.. you plan to spend all those leaves with family? I, myself would be going out of town with the Mrs. and my little boy" he said as he checked his phone.

Family.

Haven't been home since I moved out. I have been going to family occassions. But didn't really stayed longer than a few hours. I always said I was busy and had some other appointment to go to.

"Y-Yes... something like that Sir" sagot ko as he checked his phone after it beeped for a message.

"Gail... a moment... I just have to make a call" Sir Tudor, I mean, Sir Nathan said as he stood up and walked towards the window looking out.

"I wonder who it was" I asked myself as Sir started to talk on his phone.

"Yes, baby boy... about to go home na... uwi na si Papa... ano gusto mo pasalubong?" he said on the phone.

That's cute! He's talking to his son.

" ... ok... pauwi na si Papa in a while... dala ang Jabee mo... I love you... pakausap kay Mama mo" he continued taiking as I checked my phone.

7:05PM. Will be going home in a while as well.

"Sorry about that... so, ready to go?" Sir asked as he walked back.

"Sure am... thanks for the treat, Sir" I smiled as I stood up and we walked out the cafe back to the building basement where our cars are.

After waving goodbye, Sir drove off on his way home after passing by Jollibee for the pasalubong for his son, as I heard from his phone coversation.

"Uwian na" I whispered to myself as I turned on the engine after putting on my seatbelt.

"Time to go home" I thought.

Home... a place I have already forgotten about.

Where is "home"?
