Chapter 21 - Being in the Dark

"... Babe... we're home..."

I wouldn't want to wake up that beauty. But she needs to rest better on her bed. I softly tapped again to wake her.

She slowly opened her eyes as her head faced me. She then smiled at me before she nodded. I helped her out of the car and up the elevator lobby.

"The night was... magical... thank you, babe..." she said cuddling into my side as she held the bouquet of roses I gave her.

The night was indeed magical... even for me. And as I kissed Gail by the veranda, I held her in my arms. Her lips were as sweet as they have been. I held onto her tighter, in my arms.

"Mahal kita, Gail... and that will never change..." sabi ko as I led her from the veranda, my hand on her hips.

"Brent..." she moaned as we started undressing slowly.

She took my hand as she led me to the bedroom naked. Hawak ko ang kamay niya sa dilim. She slowly sat on her bed as we kissed with me holding onto her head. "... I... love... you..." she murmured still asleep as I started walking quietly from her.

I smiled as I turned when she finished her sleep murmuring.
