Morning arrived and everyone was still confused on what had happened that night. Especially River. She was still in shock that somebody tried to kill her friend.

River stared at Violet silently, slowly eating her cereal.

Violet looked up from the newspaper and blinked. "So... You have been staring at me like that for half an hour. What's up?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

River chewed and swallowed her cereal before answering. "I'm still in shock over last night. Why was that man trying to kill you? What good would it come out of killing you?" She asked.

"I don't know, but it doesn't seem like something that that person would give up on. I know that he would come back, follow me, and try to kill me again." Violet muttered, frowning. "I think it's because it's just... Bam, human pops into the world all of a sudden. People are probably freaking out and think that they're all gonna die and it's the end of the world."

"That's stupid. A human is fairly harmless."

"That's what I'm thinking! I have no special abilities that I know of!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air in exasperation.

River sighed, "Well, when he comes back we'll be a bit more prepared next time. We still have to be wary and observe our surroundings when we go out." She said.

Violet nodded in agreement.

Ciel came back from the kitchen, drinking a glass of orange juice. He sat next to Violet and glanced her worriedly. "People trying to kill my friend!" He whined, pouting and hugging her tightly. "I will murder them slow and painfully!"

Violet giggled. "Well, if it comes down to it, then you can, I guess." She said.

Ciel pouted still but nodded, pleased by that answer.

Zala watched them from across the room and narrowed her eyes when they were hugging.

Ciel noticed her watching and looked at her, furrowing his eyebrows together. "What?" He asked.

Zala quickly looked away. "Nothing. Just we have to leave soon."

Ciel nodded and let Violet go, getting the message even though it wasn't voiced. He may not be serious ever, but he wasn't stupid when it comes to unspoken messages. "Alright." He muttered. "Let's leave then." He took a big last gulp of his juice before going to put it in the sink. He picked up his bag and went to the door, opening it and holding it for everyone else.

Zala went out, followed by Gildar, River, and Violet. However, Violet waited for Ciel while the others went on down. She smiled at him when he caught up before continuing on walking down. She walked up to the desk and handed the lady the key. She chuckled at the shocked face.

"You... How..."

"I think you overestimate my abilities, thus I didn't get murdered." Violet said, grinning.

"But... He was a completely trained assassin!"

"Yeah, but he kinda forgot that most people could feel someone watching them."

"Okay... But at least your safe and not killed." The lady said, frowning.

Violet laughed. "I'll be fine. I was trained to defend myself before leaving that castle."

"Alright... Anyways, have a nice day." Said the lady, waving goodbye at Violet, who waved back as she walked out.

Violet went up to Zala. "Are we ready to head out of the village and to Levicity?" She asked, smiling.

Zala looked at the map Gildar was holding. "Hey Gildar. How long till we get there?" She asked, raising an eyebrow towards the dwarf.

"About two to four hours hours. Depends on how we get there." He said, "If we go straight towards it and through the forest, we should be able to reach it in two hours. Go on a path, it would take four. So, which path shall we take?"
