Crossing Universes (NaNoWriMo13)

Chapter Twenty Seven

It had been two days since Majestic won and the celebration had happened. Queen Clarissa had sent out her winged species out to search for the gate Violet used to cross universes the day after the celebration party. It took only two hours before one reported they saw the sighting of the said white, marble gateway at the Majestic's islands. She had ordered them to keep track of it till Violet could get there and come back.

Currently, Violet was riding on Ciel's back, him flying and searching the ground below. Ciel had wanted to go with her into her former world, to meet her family and friends. It would be rude to not meet the parents of someone you love.

"You know, you are really light." He commented.

"I know. I'm like... I dunno, one hundred pounds? I grown the past few weeks, so I may have gained some pounds."

"Wow. That is really light for someone like you. Then again, you are an elf." He chuckled as he spotted the said marble gate. "Found it!" He yelled over the wind as he dived down at a high speed.

Violet screeched at how quickly he was flying, causing him to wince.

Ciel landed carefully in front of it and looked at it in curiosity, letting Violet down. "This is the gate, I presume?" He asked.

Violet nodded and smiled as she saw where it was leading it to; her home. It was leading her right to her backyard and she saw her parents and her friends staring at it with wide eyes and their jaws dropped in surprise and disbelief. She giggled and waved to them, smiling. She watched them slowly wave back. She started wondering if they recognized her. Violet turned towards Ciel. "Are you ready?" She asked.

Ciel looked down at her with a small smile. "Of course I am. I'm ready for anything, especially this." He said.

Violet nodded again and turned back to the portal. She then jumped in, stumbling a bit as she entered the other side, in her homeland. She gasped as she was tackled by her friends.

"Violet! Where have you been? It has been nearly a year since we last saw you! You've gotten taller! What happened? Who was that boy with you?" They asked in unison, bombarding her with questions.

Violet laughed and answered all of their questions; "In another world that is like the complete opposite of this. Yes, I have gotten taller. I am now an elf because I have gotten used to the other world. Wow, seriously? Nearly a year?" She said in surprise, "And that boy is Ciel, a Dark angel. Speaking of which, why hasn't he passed through?" She finished, turning towards the gate, not seeing him in the image.

Just then, Ciel appeared with a yelp, face planting into the ground. He groaned and got up, sputtering up dirt and grass. He brushed off the dirt from his clothing and looked up, seeing he was surrounded by girls. "Oh... Hello." He murmured.

Violet chuckled and looked towards her parents, who were standing there in confusion and shock. "Mom, Dad, friends, meet Ciel. Ciel, meet my parents and my friends; Christie, Melanie, Jasmine, and Kate." She introduced.

Ciel bowed to them. "Hello. As Violet has said, I am Ciel. Violet's.... Lover?" He said, grinning up at his said lover.

Violet huffed and her cheeks turned red slightly.

Christie gasped, "Woah. Violet's lover? Who knew she'd find someone in that other world! And who knew that a Dark angel would be all happy and gleeful!"

Melanie giggled, "Aw. Congrats." She teased Violet, causing her to huff in embarrassment.

Jasmine jumped around in joy, giggling gleefully and excited her friend has a boyfriend finally.

Kate grinned and looked at Violet's mom and dad, to see their reactions.

Violet's mom hugged Violet tightly and cooed, "My baby is all grown up now! Finding her first love!" She looked up at her daughter and noticed she was a lot taller than her by five inches. "Woah. So tall! And look at those elven ears!"
