Song: My Love By Sia .-. Sorry for the long ass author's note in the end

Alex~

I wasn't exactly sure if what I was doing was exactly the 'best idea', but it was too late to turn back. I had already rung the bell and all that was left was for me to wait until Miss Alvarez answered the door. It's been a few days since Rian, Zack and Jack came over to talk to me. And honestly, I don't feel better, not one bit.

My thoughts were interupted once the front door opened, revealing the familiar, short woman. Miss Alvarez looked up, a kind smiling forming on her lips, "Alex," she greeted, "what are you doing here?" She asked. As much as I hate being nosy, I couldn't help but notice that her smile was forced and her brown eyes filled with sadness.

"Um, is it all right if I talk to you? Just for a couple of minutes." I said as I nervously scratched the back of my neck. I don't know why, but I have always felt nervous around Angel's mother. In the beginning, the reason for that was because I didn't want her mom to hate me, but now, I think it's because I don't want to say anything that will set her off.

Ms. Alvarez nodded in understanding as she stepped aside, welcoming me into her home. I breathed out a small 'thank you' before we both made our way into the living room. Ms. Alvarez sat on the single couch while I took a seat on the couch opposite of her. A tense silence filled the room as I stared down at the rips in my jeans, my thoughts and questions racing through my mind but I forced them away.

"Ms. Alvarez-"

"Please, call me Maria," she cut me off, another forced smile spreading across her lips.

"Maria..." I continued, "it's been three weeks since Angel's left, and I haven't heard a single word from her. She wont answer my calls, she wont reply to my messages, she won't Skype with me. She's refusing any sort of contact with me and I'm getting really worried. I was just wondering if you knew anything about her." I finished, taking a large breath of fresh air.

Ms. Alvarez sighed before pressing her lips together in a tight line, her eyebrows furrowing together and a concentrated look overcoming her features. "She didn't tell you, did she?" Ms. Alvarez asked, sighing heavily.

"Tell me what?"

"Angel is fine, Alex," she sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair, "but, even though Angel wants to... she can not come back." She said.

"What?" I asked, completely confused. "What do you mean she can't come back?"

Again, Ms. Alvarez sighed heavily, "Angel was born in Michoacan, she does not have the necessary documents that allow her to return to the United States. She cannot receive those documents unless she marries a U.S citizen, or she waits five years for a judge to even see her case, then maybe, she will the got the right documents, but unless any of that is happening, she cannot come back to the United States."

"What?" I questioned, slowly letting her words sink in. "So basically, what you're telling me that Angel isn't going to come back?" I asked, even though the answer was obvious. Sighing, Ms. Alvarez shook her head in response. "But, isn't there any other way that she can come back?"

"Well, her father could grant her citizenship, but, that's only if he's willing to pay quite a bit of money. Her father may be rich, but I highly doubt that he'd ever be willing to help us out in anyway. All he's done to this family is cause pain."

Angel~

'Can you go on Skype? Please? It's important, I have something to show you and I want to tell you something.' Read the text message that Alex had sent me not too long ago. I chewed on my lip, contemplating on whether or not I should answer him. I know that he's worried about me, they all are. Their constant messaging is always blowing up on my phone to the point where I actually have to turn it off.
