Mac drove down to the Luna Mesa, his phone in his hand as he texted Andrea to meet him there. She seemed to not really care and said she'd be there in half an hour. Mac grunted and tossed the phone back on the passenger seat. Whole he focused his eyes on the road, his mind kept rolling over his and Beth's fight. She'd confessed that she loved him. And he'd stood there frozen like a retard and then left. He couldn't stop wondering what Beth was doing now. Was she crying in their room because of his silence? Angrily pounding the walls? Both? Would she still even be there when he returned? He wouldn't be surprised if she was in the shed avoiding him. He sighed. He knew she was probably heart-broken. He liked her, he knew hat for sure. But love? Maybe not in love, but could possibly attached? He liked holding her and sex with her, but sometimes he felt like he liked holding her more than he liked the sex. He remembered back to their first kiss under the stars. It was a beautiful scene, and he couldn't stop thinking about it. He sometimes dreamed about her soft pink lips on his. He'd only kissed her a few times, but he craved more. Should he kiss her when he got home? Would she even let him? Had he fucked up whatever they were?

Mac pulled into the Luna Mesa's bar and sat in his car, waiting for Andrea to show up. Earlier Luke had told him the meth head's name was Hudson, and he came here every Friday night to hook up with someone. Mac turned off the ignition, looking around for the beat up P.O.S car he'd spotted outside of Hudson's house. It was there up front, and appeared to be vacant. Mac bit his lip, knowing that his plan would go smoothly. Everything was correct so far. All have needed was Andrea.

Speaking of the devil, a hot pink buggie pulled into the lot and after pausing for a second, paused beside Mac. She rolled her window, and Mac copied.

"What's up?" She asked. She had dolled up and he blonde hair was curled slightly.

"Need ya to be bait." No point sugar coating it.

"Bait? Why?" She demanded, sounding angry.

"I need ya to lure a guy on top of the Mesa across the valley." He muttered, keeping an eye on the car and the bar doors.

"Why don't you get your girlfriend to do it?" She scoffed.

"Cause she ain't a whore. If ya do this and all goes well, I'll give ya half the meth he's got." He stated.

"Oh so I'm a whore now?" She demanded.

"Everyone knows it, doll."

Andrea muttered under her breath. "All I get is meth? I want more than that if I'm risking my ass!"

"Ya ain't gettin' the money. I need that." Mac said, still keeping watch.

"I'm not talking about meth, hon." She murmured, now soundings flirty. It made Mac glance down at her, his face hard and emotionless. "I want you."

Mac growled. He wasn't sure about Andrea anymore. He should've known this could've happened. He'd slept with Andrea more times than anyone else in this town. She was fun as hell in bed too, and knew what she was doing like she studied it. But Beth...

Mac shook his head. "Ain't happenin'." He muttered.

"Oh really? Is your precious doll gonna be bait for some meth addict then?" She demanded. "Ya know I'm the only one who'd do this for you."

Mac growled. She had a point. She really did. But which was more important? Having a roof over their heads or being faithful to Beth? He sucked in a sharp breath. He was leaning towards Beth, but if they were out in the open, then she'd be more likely to be caught. Besides, what were the chances of Beth ever finding out about what he'd do with Andrea?

"Fine. But only one round at your place." He reluctantly agreed. Andrea smiled and killed her cars engine. Mac sighed as he watched her head inside. What had he just done?
