Chapter 6

(Aphmau's POV)

After they went outside, I want to get Katelyn to have them get their bags. Travis and her followed after me and Aaron did also. Zane however was still sitting on the couch no caring. Garroth, Travis, and Laurence helped out giving the bags to everyone.

"Aphmau. Can I talk to you after we get everything inside?" Laurence came up behind me, tapping me on the shoulder. Speaking to me in a whisper.

"Sure I can. I, thinking on like why he would want to talk to me. He has seemed off for a couple months now, I hope everything is okay with him.

Zane finally made an appearance outside and saw the few second conversation. I knew that he would have questions for me later but to be honest I have no clue what so ever. Anyways, I noticed everyone had their own bags so we headed inside to the rooms. We all came to an agreement that we would start doing camping related activity's tomorrow morning. Aaron and I went to our room to put our bags on the bed.

"Why did Laurence come up to you?" Aaron sat on the bed, waiting for a response.

"He wanted to speak to me after we all settled in. Why?"

"Just curious. That's all. I didn't like the way he was flirting with you in front of me. He doesn't understand that I'm the one dating YOU. Not him... he had his chance."

"Aaron. Don't be jelly. These lips are only for your lips only. I'm going to bring that up to him." I sat next to him and out my hand on his lap. "Okay? Best. Dog. Dad. EVER."

"Heh... alright sweetheart." He gave me a kiss on my hand. "I'll probably be in here until you get back or out there with the guys. We can hangout alone or with everyone else."

I got up to walk out and Aaron called my name.

"Aphmau. If Laurence doesn't stop, I'll take matters into my own hands." Aaron walked over to the small bathroom and closed the door. I could tell that he was really mad about what Laurence did earlier and to be honest I was too.

When I came out everyone was laughing, having a amazing time. For the first time I see Zane laughing with Kawaii~Chan. Katelyn, Travis, Lucinda and Garroth looked like they were play charades. I asked Garroth to see if he knew where Laurence was. I walked outside, seeing Laurence sitting on a bench underneath a tree near the cabin. It was starting to get dark.

"Hey Aphmau." Laurence looked up, smiling. "Isn't it beautiful outside? Being around wildlife and trees, so relaxing."

"You said you wanted to talk? What do you want to talk about? You haven't been yourself the past couple months. You've been distant."

"Straight and to the point. Aren't you?"

"Laurence. I'm serious, I'm really worried about you. What's up?"

"Aphmau. I have been going thru things personally and I need time. I just want to apologize the way I acted earlier in front of Aaron. I still can't believe or accept the fact you left me from him. I know Garroth is okay with it but honestly I'm not Aphmau. I never really liked the guy since high school."

"Oh okay. Um, first of all we were never dating. You never told me told me how you felt about me. Second of all, I didn't leave you. I was growing closer to Aaron. We have more history even before I started high school. I'm sorry if you said maybe things would have been different. I'm living a good life right now being with the people I truly care about including you. You can accept it and move on or don't. Don't take it out on Aaron... to be honest Laurence. You had your chance and you never said anything directly to me." I stood up and started to walk away.

"I can't believe you said that." Laurence shook his head and stood up.

"Really? You're the one being rude to him! You expect me to let that slide? Heck, no he's my boyfriend and I'll defend him."

"Wow. I thought friends came first."

"He is my friend, my boyfriend. Why did you come along? To break us apart? Thinking I'd fall in love with you and leave him?!"

"YES! Aphmau I love you! I always have since highs school dam it." Laurence yelled at me. Next thing I hear are the cabin doors opening.

"Is everything okay out here? We can hear you both in here." Katelyn hollered out, and Aaron followed behind her when she walked outside.

"Aph? You okay?" Aaron was walking towards me and Katelyn now is behind him.

"You. You are the reason. You son of a..." Laurence ran over to Aaron and socked him in the face.

"What the hell Laurence?!" Aaron yelled at Laurence.

"I... Aphmau deserves better than you! I could have a chance."

"That's it Laurence. I have been patient long enough." Aaron got up in Laurence's face.

"Aaron... please don't." I started to tear up, I don't like my friends fighting, especially over me.

"I couldn't wait any longer, I told her my feelings because I love her for her. I wasn't going to stand around and wait for someone else to take her from me. We were never friends anyways Laurence." Aaron gave Laurence a cross look. "Face it. You lost your chance leave her alone and be a man not a kid from high school."

Laurence threw a punch at Aaron, but he caught it with his hand. "Is this really worth it?"

"Anything for Aphmau." Laurence smirked. I however didn't like were this was going.
