Pidge and Shiro were staring.

Lance didn't blame them. He supposed they might think that he just got irrationally angry because Keith left his room. At which point, he assumed that he would think he was crazy too. But that wasn't the whole story. The truth was Keith had locked them in. Yeah it was probably unintentional, but he hadn't come back to fix it. Though honestly if he had been in Keith's place, he wouldn't have come back either.

But regardless, he was mad. Mad? Shaky? Unstable? All the above?

"Is everything okay?" Shiro asked, concerned.
"Yes. Actually, you know what no. No. No! Nothing's alright! I'm stuck sharing a bathroom with Keith — Keith of all people! My room, my personal space is now the sky party room, and now I'm stuck here with you guys!" he brought his hands up to his face, elbows up in the air. He needed to be alone. Now.

"Sheesh. We got it, we'll leave," Pidge slid off the bed with a sidelong glance at Lance.

He gave up a mirthless laugh. They'll see.

However, it was Shiro who placed his right hand on the handle and turned it, opening the door before exiting with the Green Paladin.

Lance stared after them in silence. After a moment he got up and inspected the door. There were angry gashes in the door frame, stress fractures in the door surrounding the handle, and the knob was limp and clearly broken. And Shiro didn't even notice. Lance made a mental note never to get the Black Paladin angry.

This was just great. Now his door was broken broken and two of his comrades thought he was acting out for no reason. No reason over Keith. But it's not like any of that mattered. No. What mattered was that he had no idea what to do.
He fell back on the bed and pulled at his hair as he crawled into a fetal position. What the heck was that?

He and Keith kissed. His brain was exploding. What? Why? And it wasn't, like, a short kiss. The kiss may have started as an accident, but it lasted for a hot minute. Long enough that neither could pass it off as accidental, not anymore. And Keith. Keith! Keith McFreaking Kogane!

It wasn't like he didn't find him attractive. In fact, he found most everybody on board extremely hot. With the exceptions for Pidge (too many younger sibling vibes) and maybe Coran. Mustaches didn't do it for him. But maybe without it... Lance shook his head to concentrate. Oh yeah, and not those little tattle-tail mice either.

Did he enjoy it? Heck yeah! It had been a while since he had the chance to enjoy a moment of intimacy like that. Maybe it wasn't his best experience, but what did he expect with Keith? It's not like he had any feeling for him — scratch that, he had plenty of feelings for the guy. Feelings like anger, jealousy, hurt, but nothing like affection. Right?

But what he couldn't understand was why Keith put up with it. If he didn't enjoy it he would have stopped it, Lance had no doubt. But he didn't. Keith was just as guilty as he was. Did he actually like men? Or was he like Lance, enjoying both? Or maybe just pure curiosity. Maybe it was his first kiss and the poor guy didn't know what to do. Didn't know how to say no. At least that may have been the case had he not reciprocated. Lance ran his tongue across his bottom lip as he remembered Keith's mouth moving with his. Hungry. Wanting.

This was killing him. More than anything he wanted to know what was going on behind that black mullet right now.

He was doomed. That was a given. Keith knew his secret now. If not everything then at least part of it, and his imagination would surely fill in the holes. Clutching his head, Lance buried himself under his covers, as if he could hide from his feeling of shame. He wondered how long he could stay in there before somebody dragged him out. He didn't want to face Keith. He didn't want to face anyone.
