Yeah, so Grandmère didn’t not wake me because of being selfless. She spent the night with José de la Rive.

Apparently, she was so upset with me yesterday that she left the Palace after dinner and invited her lover to the Renaldo Palace.

What’s the problem, you’d think?

Well, the problem is that she thought about everything and decided I’ve got to do some things around here. Things we had already agreed Dad would take over, such as a meeting with Mr. Dupont, Minister of Environment.

She drives me crazy.

Oh. There she is, screaming again.

I can hear her from my room:

“Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Renaldo!” If chances were already low that I’d pay attention to her, now they are inexistent, after accidentally “forgetting” Thermopolis (yeah, right). “Come here immediately! Mr. Dupont is waiting in your office. Don’t you know it’s rude to make your guest wait? It’s not because you’re the Princess that you’re suddenly allowed to do what you want!”

Bla, bla, bla. Won’t this woman shut up? Oh my God! She’s incredible.

“Amelia! I give you two minutes to arrive or I’ll go looking for you personally.”

Oh, no. Looks like it won’t take her too long to find me. She’s at the door.

And now, she’s inside.

“So here you are! Come downstairs immediately!” God… She has quite good lungs. How does she even have that voice? “Stop writing in that diary! Are you trying to get on my nerves? Because you’re succeeding, young lady.”

She’s coming to take you.

“No, Grandmère!”
