chapter 14

Miranda's POV

"Is it too late now to say sorry! Cuz I'm missing more than just ya body, ooooh" I belted.

Because today is a Saturday, and I have no life, I am currently listening to pop music. It's actually pretty fun, you should try it.

Eyes closed, and earphones in, I'm just jumping around my room and singing the lyrics to different pop songs. This one's my favorite.

"Not just tryna get you back on me, oh no, cuz I'm missing more than just ya body, oohh Is it too late now to say sorry? Yeahhh I kno-o-ow that I let you down, is it too late to say sorry now," I sang.  I started dancing around my room as the song continued.

You can say I'm not normal, it's okay.

Normal is boring anyway.

Suddenly getting tired, I opened my eyes and shrieked at what was in front of me.

Kevin was leaning against my wall with amusement written all over his face.

I shut the music off and took my earphones out of my ears.

"How the hell did you get in my room!"I yelled.

"Your window wasn't locked," he shrugged.

"That's breaking and entering!" I yelled.

"Actually, I was just entering," He retorted, earning a glare from me in reply.

"What the hell do you want?" I asked before putting my phone on the bedside table.

When I didn't get an answer I turned around to already see him checking me out. I was dressed in a blue crop top and sofee shorts.

Oops.

I crossed my arms over my chest, and his eyes found mine. "Uhm, what did you say?" He cleared his throat.

"What do you want?" I repeated.

"I think its time for us to talk," he announced.

"Oh, well I think it's time for you to leave," I snapped.

"Miranda, stop," he warned.

Who the hell does he think he is?

He cant just break into my room and demand that we talk. I want nothing to do with him.

"Stop what? I don't wanna talk, and especially not to you," I continued.

"Yeah, well you don't always get what you want," he voiced.

"Can you just get out of my room?"  I asked, growing angrier by the second.

"No," he simply shrugged.

I took a deep breath before continuing, "Fine let's talk. What do you wanna talk about?"

"I didn't mean to defend Stella that day," He sighed.

Yeah, right.

"And I didn't mean to leave my window unlocked." I deadpanned. He ran a hand through his messy hair, yep he was getting aggravated, but this is good because then we can speed up the process of him getting out of my room.

"Miranda, you're making it really hard for me to explain," He sighed.

"I don't want an explanation Kevin! It's okay to defend her, I don't care," I yelled.

"If you don't care then why aren't you talking to me?" he asked. He took my silence as a confirmation that I actually do care.

"Kevin I don't wanna talk about this anymore," I sighed.
