•chapter 18•
Miranda's POV
After telling the group about what happened with Kevin, I decided to go to his house.
He can't get rid of me that easily.
I've never seen him act that way before. I mean he's yelled at me loads of times, but he's never yelled at me like that.
I don't like it when we fight, and even though we can't go a day without arguing we always leave things on a good note, and that's what I'm determined to do now.
I pulled into my driveway before turning the car off and hopping out. I walked across my lawn, and onto his, before arriving at his doorstep.
I know he's home because I could only see his car parked in his driveway.
I rang the doorbell and waited for him to open the door. I heard shuffling behind the door, before it was pulled open to reveal Kevin standing there in all his glory.
Shirtless.
He was shirtless.
Good god.
His perfectly toned abs were complimenting his broad muscular shoulders. He was so gorgeous, it wasn't even fair.
"Can I help you?" He asked. I tried to ignore the rudeness in his voice.
"You can help me by telling me what's wrong," I retorted.
"I have better things to do," He sighed.
Ouch.
"Ok well that can wait," I said before shoving him to the side and walking into his house. I know its rude to barge into people's houses, but I needed answers, and I'm gonna get them now. Plus, he breaks into my room almost everyday, so who's really the rude one?
He shut the door before walking past me and into the living room, where the t.v was on.
He payed zero attention to me as his eyes were glued to the tv screen. Some action movie with Tom cruise in it, was playing.
"Kevin, tell me what's wrong!" I yelled.
He ignored me.
I scanned the room for the tv remote and once I found it I grabbed it and clicked the off button.
"What the hell Miranda!" He screamed.
Well atleast he's talking to me.
"I wanna know what's wrong and I wanna know now," I ordered, earning an annoyed groan in reply, which sounded extremely sexy in my opinion. Miranda, not now!
"Are you jealous?"I blurted out.
"I don't know am I?" he mocked.
"Kevin, please just tell me what's wrong," I sighed quietly.
"He is what's wrong! And why would you give him your number?! I don't like him, and I don't like the thought of you texting him or being with him! Miranda I don't know what I'm feeling for you but you can't expect me not to get jealous when I see you with other people! I hated the way he made you smil-" I cut him off because I don't know what came over me but suddenly my lips were on his.
Damn, his lips are soft.
I pulled away two seconds later to see a shocked expression on his face.
That's when I realized what I did.
I kissed him.
I kissed Kevin Brewer!
Shit.
"Uhm, I'm sorry but that was the only way to get you to-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as he pulled me closer to him and his lips met mine. The kiss was slow and gentle, and there weren't any butterflies in my stomach.
