Imagine starting your period in the mountain when being chased by the goblins and don't realise until everything had calmed down when the eagles finally put you down and everything had calmed down, and you get a sudden burst of period pains. The dwarves then panic and try to help you. You explain that it's internal so can't be stitched up or healed (bad idea) and then Ori, Bilbo, any other dwarf you like start crying, asking you not to die and make you lie down. Laughter ensues and awkward conversations.
