Imagine waking up in Erebor with no memory of anything except the (first) war against Morgoth/Melkor and you make your way up to the higher levels just as the dwarves are fighting Smaug and end up helping them and then them having to teach you about the new world. (Such as the Last Alliance, everything to do with the dwarves, obviously, the changing of the world, etc.) and then, after the battle of the five armies you finally meet up with Gandalf (Olorin) and you recognise him from Valinor. The end is up to you.
